Darren McFadden Practicing, Leonard Hankerson Expected Back; Ryan Matthews Out

Dallas Cowboys fans will be happy to hear that running back Darren McFadden was practicing on Friday. He was seen going through all drills and catching passes from Tony Romo.

Although he is being listed as questionable, it sounds like McFadden will play in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins. He can be considered a high end RB2 in that matchup. It’s possible the team will use him quite a bit while Romo shakes off some rust from being out for most of the season.

McFadden has actually had a very good season thus far. He has been an every down back since the team let Joseph Randle go. He has 494 yards and two touchdowns on 130 carries on the ground. Through the air he has 24 receptions for 192 yards.

His talent has never been a question, but McFadden has always struggled to stay healthy. But as long as he’s on the field, he should be inserted into your starting lineups.

The Atlanta Falcons will finally have wide receiver Leonard Hankerson back in action after missing two games with a hamstring injury. The Falcons are scheduled to face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a game that could be a shootout.

I would recommend taking a wait and see approach with Hankerson. IT’s possible he will quickly become a high-end WR3 for his fantasy owners, but for now keep him on the bench if at all possible.

Through the seven games he has played in Hankerson has recorded 22 receptions for 291 yards and two touchdowns.

As for the rest of the Falcons offense, I really like their matchup this week. I expect quarterback Matt Ryan, running back Devonta Freeman and wide receiver Julio Jones to have huge games. I also like tight end Jacob Tamme as a TE1 this week.

In other news, the Philadelphia Eagles will be without running back Ryan Mathews in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The running back is out with a concussion.

Mathews not being able to play this week isn’t a big surprise, but it is good news for DeMarco Murray owners.

In addition to Mathews being out, the team will also start Mark Sanchez at quarterback. This should mean that Murray will shoulder a heavy workload on Sunday. He is a must start RB1 this week.

Darren Sproles should see more playing time too, but he isn’t worth starting.
