BALLER MOVE: Add in Most Leagues
Owned in 73% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Although Darren McFadden is already owned in a lot of fantasy leagues, he should pretty much be owned in all of them at this point. Maurice Jones-Drew will be missing the Week 2 game against Houston due to an injury, which immediately puts McFadden into the lead running back role for the Raiders. Latavius Murray is a talented rookie who will also be mixed into the running game, but McFadden has an opportunity here to shine. He will most likely be the workhorse running back for the Raiders, which makes him one of my lineup sleepers for Week 2, especially in PPR leagues.
Injuries have always been the biggest thing holding back McFadden in his career, but he is healthy coming into Week 2 with an opportunity for a large volume of touches. This is what we look for as fantasy owners, to identify opportunities like this on a week-to-week basis and take advantage of them when setting your lineups. If you're struggling at running back, or aren't sure who to start in your FLEX spot this week, McFadden is a solid option to consider. Go grab him now off the waiver wire if he's still available in your fantasy football leagues.
