ANALYSIS: After spending most of the week in concussion protocol, Davante Adams was a catch machine this past Thursday. He caught a whopping 13-of-16 targets for 132 yards and two scores on the day, and was the main source of offense for the Packers for the entire first half— six catches on eight targets for 56 yards. He then caught two touchdowns in the second half, both in red zone situations.
The two scores were Adams’ fourth and fifth of the season. He is third on the Packers in targets with 43, and the 16 targets he got this week are a season-high for any Green Bay player. Aaron Rodgers’ trust in Adams appears to be growing with each passing week, so he would be a wise pickup this week for wide receiver-needy teams.
