ANALYSIS: For those of you who are desperate for wide receiver help on your fantasy football teams, there may be a WR on the cusp of being a target for you to pickup off waivers. His name is Davante Adams and some of you may not know who he is just yet. Recently the Green Bay Packers have made some changes in their depth chart on their 3rd wide receiver spot. The role was previously held by Jarrett Boykin, who was coming off a fantastic 2013 season (49 catches, 681 yards, 3 TDs), but recently fell out of favor with inconsistent play and a case of the dropsies. In previous years, the Packers 3rd wide receiver spot has been a valuable fantasy WR option. James Jones was the main WR3 the past few seasons and averaged 54 catches, 745 yards and 8 TDs. These numbers made Jones a valuable fantasy player, and the reason why Boykin was drafted at the beginning of this season in most leagues. Now that Boykin has lost this spot to Adams, it's up to him to perform. So far he has not shown much - this week's performance against the Vikings of 4 targets, 1 catch, 11 yards, 1 TD was really nothing to write home about. At this time Adams has not shown enough to warrant a waiver wire pickup in all leagues. However I would monitor this situation closely - anyone who secures the WR3 on the Packers will be a valuable WR to have on your fantasy team. Keep in mind, whoever wins that spot has Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback, automatically adding them to our list of sleepers.
