ANALYSIS: Assuming Andre Ellington misses at least one more week, David Johnson remains fantasy relevant. Chris Johnson received the bulk of the carries in Week 2, but the rookie was the more productive of the two backs.
David Johnson averaged 8.4 yards per carry against the Bears, finding the end zone on the ground in the third quarter. This was Johnson's second score of the day-- he returned the opening kick 108 yards for a touchdown.
It would be in the best interest of the Cardinals to use the rookie as much as possible in Week 3 against a 49ers defensive unit that allowed DeAngelo Williams to cross the plane three times on Sunday.
Again, as long as Ellington is inactive come Sunday, Johnson is a solid flex play in deep leagues.
