WE MADE IT TO TONA BABY!! It's wild to believe that for the first time in my 27 years on earth I'm finally getting to attend the Daytona 500. Lots of shenanigans are in store for the weekend, and I'll be sharing all my experiences via social media (@GarageGuyChase). The one thing I'm most excited about is keeping up with some of the drivers that I think have the best chances to score big.
There are also a few changes coming into 2020 that you should know about. Monster Energy is no longer the official sponsor of NASCAR, and the cup series is simply named "The NASCAR Cup Series" with some additional partners. Although there weren't many changes to the package on the cars, only 10 road crew personnel are allowed to travel on race weekends now when it was previously 12.

Denny Hamlin #11 (DraftKings $10,400 | FanDuel $13,000)
Hamlin is last year's Daytona 500 winner, and will be starting the race in P8. At media day, Hamlin said he gets gut feelings on when to drop from the pack to avoid "The Big One". With his odds to win set at 10-1, He should end up in a good bit of lineups.
Kyle Busch #18 (DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $14,000)
M&M's Busch (Busch boys get identified by their sponsors this year from me) has never won the Daytona 500, and he certainly wants to check the box as soon as possible. Busch has won at this track in the past, but things dont seem to go his way in February. Busch had a Top 10 in the first practice here, and starts in P28 on Sunday.
Chase Elliott #9 (DraftKings $10,000 | FanDuel $12,200)
Elliott is entering his fourth year as a cup series driver, and has become the fan-favorite of the sport (according to Kyle Busch). He had a top speed of 194.347 in the second practice, and for where he's starting, a finish in the Top 10 would STACK points. Elliott will be starting in P25 on Sunday.
Matt DiBenedetto #21 (DraftKings $7,800 | FanDuel $8,300)
Dibenedetto is excited to be rolling in the Wood Brother's 21 Ford this season, and when he avoids wrecks, he is solid at superspeedways. He finished 10th in the first practice, and has been shining all over the infield so far this weekend. Dibenedetto will roll off in P16.
Ryan Blaney #12 (DraftKings $9,300 | FanDuel $11,000)
Blaney was wrapped up in a wreck during the Duels on Thursday night, and before then I wasn't really considering him for lineups. He will be starting from the rear in a backup car on Sunday which will make him a DFS must-play for me. He is now my favorite out of the Team Penske drivers this weekend.
Clint Bowyer #14 (DraftKings $8,600 | FanDuel $9,000)
You can't help but love Clint Bowyer. The man is a force of nature on and off the track, and this week he starts in P29. If he can swerve on the pack, you can bet this man will serve up no less than a Top 15 finish.
Martin Truex Jr. #19 (DraftKings $9,500 | FanDuel $11,000)
Truex Jr. impressed us last season by finally winning at short tracks. Could this be the year where he finally bags a superspeedway cup series win? Truex Jr. ran fifth in the first practice, and starts the race on Sunday in P15.
Ty Dillon #13 (DraftKings $5,700 | FanDuel $4,000)
Geicko Dillon (See what I did there?) is arguably one of the best value plays at superspeedways. Dillon finished the first practice in first with a speed of 203.592, and has 50-1 odds to win this race. I dont see him winning, but I do know he should perform well starting in P24.
