BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 30% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Heading into the 2019 season, one of my favorite wide receivers to target late was rookie Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers. Between his skillset and his opportunity in this offense, it was hard to ignore the upside that he offered both immediately and long-term. Samuel is currently the WR69 in PPR scoring leagues and the 49ers offense is in need of someone to step up in terms of pass-catchers.
The Niners defense has been much better than expected so far this year, and the offensive weapons have been tough to predict. From the running backs to the wide receivers, the really only established weapon that has been consistent this year and last year is George Kittle. Samuel is an explosive weapon that can be very useful to this offense if they start to use him more. He also leads the wide receiver group on that offense with 17 targets on the season, while Kittle leads the team with 29. Samuel isn't someone you'll start right away, but he's worth stashing if you have the roster spot available.
