ANALYSIS: The sample is as tiny as it gets, but hey, we're here looking for bargains and buried gems. These are Duvernay's weekly points per snap: 0.2, 0.5, 1.3, 0.1, 0.4, and 0.2. These are Duvernay's weekly points per touch: 2.2, 2.9, 4.4, 1.4, 2.6, 2.0. Now, you might thing those are just a bunch of random numbers. For context, only Mark Ingram (0.37) and Lamar Jackson (same 0.35) are averaging more FP per snap than Duvernay among Ravens. Uh, oh, flex on them Duvernay!
Now, that being said, Duvernay has only been on the field for 84 snaps (24% of all), and he just has 12 targets and a rush attempt over the season. But the efficiency has been incredible. That lone carry he logged in W5 he turned into a 42-yard rush, and Duvernay has caught 10 of his 12 targets for 90 yards already.
It's too soon to pencil Duvernay in as a go-to weapon in Baltimore's offense, far from it. There is Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, the infinite-RBBC, and then, maybe, there is Duvernay. Even with that, Duvernay carries a rather high ceiling if Lamar hits him in one of the fewest targets he throws his way, and although he has yet to score a touchdown, Duvernay could very well do so any given week.
Desperate play for super-deep league fantasy GMs, but you can do much worse than adding Duvernay.
