BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 51% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Starting or coming off the bench, the truth is Devin Vassell has been a staple in the 2022 Spurs and that shouldn't be changing any time soon. It's been 52 games for the second-year man and 11th 2020 pick, who has started 13 of them. It's similar to the pace he had last season (62 games, 7 starts), only he's now averaging much tastier numbers than those he posted last season as a rook. And we stan.
Vassell is putting up nightly 11-4-2 lines while he finished last year at 5-3-1. I mean, it's definitely not that Vassell is killing it or anything like that, but the steps are being taken and the improvement is slowly but surely showing. Vassell's main trait is probably his scoring and overall shooting as he's averaging 11+ PPG on 43/34/81 shooting splits while attempting 10 FGA of which half of them come from beyond the arc. That might sound like nothing, but the combination of 10 field-goal attempts, 50% 3PAr, and 1.5+ 3PM per game is something only 33 players are doing this season and only four in fewer MPG than Vassell (Love, Klay, Malik Beasley, and Kemba).
Perhaps the most encouraging thing coming from Vassell's recent outings is the fact that he's started five games in a row and seven from Jan. 30 on. He's played 32 MPG in the past five as a starter putting up an average 13-4-3-1 line while hitting all of his six free-throw attempts and shooting 42% from the field (including hitting 8 treys in the past five games combined). The turnovers are steady but low (he's committed more than one TO only once in the past 18 matches going back to Jan. 15), and Vassell also contributes the odd block here and there on top of everything (0.6 BPG this season).

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
