Analysis: Devon Travis looked dynamic last season before succumbing to a shoulder injury as he posted 38 runs, eight homers, 35 RBI and three stolen bases to go with a .304 batting average. He posted those numbers despite only notching 238 plate appearances across 62 games.
Currently on the disabled list recovering from shoulder surgery, Travis has been throwing and taking dry swings. Although the time table is uncertain he is expected back sometime in the first half of the season. If Travis is sitting in your league's free agent pool and you have an available DL spot you should consider making the addition. When a healthy Travis returns to the mighty Blue Jays lineup he could again be a force in fantasy, especially if he were to hit at or near the top of the batting order.
