ANALYSIS: Diego Castillo started the career as an exceptional opener in the Rays innovative pitching strategy. He started 11 games and finished 2018 with a 4-2 record. Now, Castillo is a part of the three-headed monster that locks down the Rays victories alongside Jose Alvarado and Emilio Pagan.
Alvarado and Catillo both have four saves, while Pagan has three. This is great news for the team, however, in fantasy, this team flexibility is extremely frustrating. The best two pitchers of the bunch are Castillo and Alvarado.
Castillo is the best bet to have the advantage, being the only righty of the two. Castillo also has seven holds in addition to his four saves. He also sports a 2.20ERA and a slim 1.04WHIP thanks primarily to his 32% strikeout and 93% LOB rate. He is a must-own in all leagues to accrue not only saves but also to help your ratios.
