ANALYSIS: Domingo Santana is listed as day-to-day because of tightness in his right shoulder. Although, he received some good news on Monday as he should return to action for Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins, according to ESPN.com. The shoulder tightness has kept him out of the lineup six of the last seven games, while he's been called upon as a pinch hitter four times over that span.
Now that a DL stint is unlikely, it's safe to give Santana a look for fantasy. He has struggled at the plate thus far, batting only .239, but has three home runs and 12 RBI to his name. Santana has hinted in the past that his power is for real. After being traded to the Brewers during the 2015 season, Santana hit eight long balls in 52 games played. Likely to tally a full season's worth of AB, he could very well double that number. His HR/FB is at 33.3% and has been hitting line drives 30.5% of the time. The issue with Santana is that he strikes out a ton, 33 times so far in 2016 with a career K% of 35.6%. If you can ignore that, Santana's power, little bit of speed, and guaranteed AB in the Brewers lineup, makes for a solid fourth or fifth outfielder.
