BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 0% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It seems like a stretch of the imagination that the Derrick Henry-led, stout Titans running game could feed another mouth on the ground after the introduction of Jeremy McNichols, but it looks like D'Onta Foreman stands an excellent shot at becoming a worthy contributor with so many carries and backfield receptions to go around.
Last week, Foreman took the field for the first time with Tennessee in their shocking upset loss to the Bengals, and it would appear at first that his presence carries little meaning, as he saw the field for just six snaps on offense (10%). However, out of those six snaps, the University of Texas product took five carries, good for 37 yards rushing (7.4 Y/A). While there isn't too much more to project off of for Foreman from his NFL career than limited sample sizes, his potential as a pass-catching presence for Tennessee is definitely there, as he caught two passes out of two targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in his lone appearance last season for the Houston Texans. As the running back ranks wear thin, it has become worth rolling the dice on a player like D'Onta Foreman who has demonstrated capability and efficiency in the time he has been allowed, even when working on thin field-time margins.
