DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/11/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

Conference tournaments are in full swing and the chaos has started already. Bellarmine won the Atlantic Sun, but they haven't been a D1 program long enough to get invited to the dance. Jameer Nelson's son made it in as a member of Delaware. Oklahoma's unlikely run at the end of the season continued with an upset of Baylor. They still need a win over Texas Tech tonight to (maybe) get in. What else do we have going on?

We tip at 5 Eastern in the SEC with Tennessee taking on Mississippi State. A half hour later, Providence takes on Creighton and Wisconsin tips against Sparty. 6 Eastern brings Kansas taking on TCU in the first Big 12(10) semi. Duke takes on Miami as they try to snag a 1 seed with Baylor losing. Kentucky and Vanderbilt is next in the SEC. The 8pm hour brings Arizona taking on Colorado, Villanova and UConn, and Penn State taking on Purdue. 8:30 brings Oklahoma and Texas Tech and the Tarheels taking on Virginia Tech. We end the night with the Battle of Los Angeles between USC and UCLA. This is going to be a good one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/22 starting at 5pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9,300)

Usually position doesn't matter all that much in the college basketball contests, but forward is so loaded tonight that it's nice to have Bacot eligible at guard. We could conceivably use six forwards if we want to. We might want to. Bacot had a pedestrian game yesterday, but the Tarheels won by 20 so I wouldn't read too much into it. He amassed 83.75 DraftKings points in the two games against Virginia Tech this year. Bacot looks like a 40-point play tonight, but the Hokies aren't going to let him go far above that.

Drew Peterson, USC ($7,100)

Peterson was solid but unspectacular against Washington last night, but he put up a monster against UCLA earlier this year. He put up 33.25 on the Bruins in the regular season finale, but it was the game on February 12 against UCLA where he really shown. Peterson had his best game of the season with 62.5 DraftKings points, a massive 27-12 double-double with four assists and five blocks in the upset win. Expect him to be somewhere closer to the last game, but that's still a good return for the price.

Josiah Jordan-James, Tennessee ($6,500)

I have some concern with Tennessee not having played since Saturday, but JJJ has been a monster in the two March games for the Vols. He has 81.75 DraftKings points in the two games to open the month and closed out February with back-to-back games over 26. He had a solid 26.5 in the first game against Mississippi State, but I'm expecting more than that tonight with the way he's playing.

Dajuan Harris, Kansas ($5,000)

The Jayhawks are willing to let Harris continue to play big minutes with somewhat mixed results. He is more willing to shoot than he was early on, which can go either way. However, Harris has put together three straight games with at least 22 DraftKings points. His ceiling isn't high on a loaded Kansas team, but the encouraging part is that Harris is getting it done with peripherals and not the scoring. He only has 20 combined points in those three games. That means his value is safe.

Jeremy Roach, Duke ($4,500)

Roach is a big reason that Duke is still in action today. He only played 24 minutes against the Orange, but he put up 28.5 DraftKings points in that time. Roach allows Coach K to get some rest for the starters while still keeping points on the board. He's in there to shoot, and he has made 11 of 18 shots in the past two games. I'll ride the hot hand for this price.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr, Vanderbilt ($8,800); Tyrese Martin, Connecticut ($7,300); Jalen Pickett, Penn State ($7,000); Damion Baugh, TCU ($6,700); TyTy Washington, Kentucky ($6,100); Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($6,000); Al Durham, Providence ($5,300); Keeshawn Barthelemy, Colorado ($4,900); Max Christie, Michigan State ($4,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,100)

Tshiebwe didn't play this week, but he did add to his trophy case winning SEC Player of the Year honors. We know the rebounds will be there – Tshiebwe hasn't had under a dozen since before Christmas – but his scoring ability just seems to get better as well. Tshiebwe put up 97.5 DraftKings points in the two games against Vandy this year. His ceiling remains the highest on the slate if you're willing to pay for it. The good news is that his floor is the highest as well.

Mark Williams, Duke ($8,500)

Banchero garners most of the attention for Duke, but Williams is the reason Duke has survived another day. He put up 50 DraftKings points against the Orange yesterday. Two of his three 50's have come against the Orange this year, but he was good against the Hurricanes in their meeting as well. Williams put up 34.25 DraftKings points in the January 8 loss to the Hurricanes at Cameron Indoor. Williams isn't always the safe play, but he can be when the opposing team doesn't have the size to defend him.

Brady Manek, North Caorlina ($7,900)

It took Manek a bit to get his bearings on Tobacco Road, but he has topped 30 DraftKings points in five straight and seven of the last eight. He is scoring at the level that he did at Oklahoma and Bacot is the guy to clean up everything else. It's no coincidence that the Heels haven't lost in almost a month. Manek is a strong play if you don't want to pay up for the elite forwards.

Gabe Brown, Michigan State ($5,400)

Brown has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight, making him a decent value play. The downside to Brown is the same as it has been all season. He rarely does anything other than score. That can result in some low scores even when he scores in double figures like he has in each of the last five games. The Spartans are once again a deep team, but Brown's consistency in minutes and production is nice.

Jacob Groves, Oklahoma ($3,700)

Why pay for Tanner when Jacob has played at least as well? The ceiling is higher for Tanner, though you wouldn't know if after Groves' monster performance against Baylor last night. The 34.25 DraftKings points was his best mark of the season. Jacob has double-digit DraftKings points in six straight games. He's a good value at this price and we saw last night what the ceiling is. Oklahoma's backs are still against the wall. They need this one, and I expect Groves to have a big role in this one as well.

Also consider: Paolo Banchero, Duke ($9,100); Jabari Walker, Colorado ($8,600); Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($7,500); Justyn Mutts, Virginia Tech ($7,300); Tyler Wahl, Wisconsin ($6,900); Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($5,500); Tyler Polley, Connecticut ($3,600)
