After a long regular season the playoffs are finally here. Unfortunately, the playoffs can make for some difficult decisions in daily fantasy leagues. The target options are significantly lower and choosing the right starting pitchers is key.
Today's contests is especially tough considering there are only two games to choose from.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Washington Nationals vs. Rich Hill (LHP)
With just a two-game slate on tap for today, picking the right pitcher to stack against will be key. The Nationals stand out as the best of the choices thanks to their history against opposing starter Rich Hill. They didn't face him this year, but current Washington hitters have a combined lifetime .520 average against him. The Nationals boast some dangerous right-handed hitters on the roster, so target them for a lineup stack today.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Tanner Roark, WAS vs. LAD - $8,700
There likely won't be a pitcher with a low ownership number, but Roark could be the lowest. However, based on the fact that the Nationals are a good target for a stack, Roark makes for a good candidate to pick up a win. Although he's 0-1 against the Dodgers this season, current L.A. hitters have a combined lifetime average of just .210 against him.
Kyle Hendricks, CHC vs. SF- $9,200
Hendricks lost in his only start against the Giants this year, but he allowed just one run in 5.1 innings of work. Although he was beat up in his last start of the regular season -- allowing four runs in five innings against the Reds -- he was on a good stretch when the season ended. Hendricks enters today with seven wins in his last 11 starts. The Giants play "small ball," so that plays to the advantage of the opposing pitcher.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Wilson Contreras, CHC vs. SF - $3,800
Contreras got the night off Friday but should be back behind the plate today. He's got a three-game hit streak, including two multi-hit games in a row. The last time he played was October 2, and he hit a home run against the Reds. He hit .318 in September and is a very smart play at the catcher position today.
First Base (1B)
Brandon Belt, SF at CHC - $3,700
Normally, an offensive target playing against a suggested pitcher isn't a good idea, but you'll need some of that with just two games today. Belt has really heated up and has been one of the best sources of offense for the Giants. He hit .284 with three home runs in September and is batting .286 so far in October. He's 3-for-7 lifetime against Hendricks with a home run and 2 RBI.
Second Base (2B)
Trea Turner, WAS vs. LAD - $4,700
Turner ended the regular season with an average of .342 and 13 home runs. He also ended the regular season with two multi-hit games in the final three games and put up three-straight games with at least 14 fantasy points. He'll look to bounce back today after going hitless Friday. Turner hit .317 against southpaws this season and makes for an excellent target. Adding to his value is the fact that he can slot in at either second base or outfield.
Shortstop (SS)
Addison Russell, CHC vs. SF - $2,900
Russell's recent stats won't jump off the page at you, but he's priced under $3,000 and has the potential for a break out. Despite hitting just .238 during the regular season, Russell has averaged seven fantasy points a game on DraftKings. He hasn't scored double-digit fantasy points since September 19, but anything close to his average will be more than acceptable given his cheap price.
Third Base (3B)
Anthony Rendon, WAS vs. LAD - $3,900
Although often overlooked for much of the season, Anthony Rendon could be a very sneaky and important piece of daily fantasy lineups in the playoffs. With some more high-profile options available at third base today Rendon is likely to carry a decent ownership number. With his two hits Friday night he's now got hits in five of his last five games. A .276 average against southpaws this year helps to add to his value today.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Kris Bryant, CHC vs. SF - $4,900
Bryant has averaged 10 points a game on DraftKings this year and remains as one of the top options at third base. He hit .292 in the regular season with 102 RBI and 39 long balls. His fantasy production faltered a bit at the end of the year, but he's still capable of putting up multi-hit performances. Bryant can be used either in the outfield or at third base and also carries high value tonight with a lifetime mark of 3-for-6 off of opposing starter Jeff Samardzija.
Bryce Harper, WAS vs. LAD- $3,800
Harper entered 2016 with some very high expectations, but ended up putting up some mediocre numbers. His .243 average in the regular season was well below his career mark of .279. Still, Harper is a supreme talent, and a steal at under $4,000 in daily leagues. He enters Saturday with a three-game hit streak and has a hit in his only at-bat against Rich Hill.
Dexter Fowler, CHC vs. SF - $4,200
Fowler is a very valuable daily fantasy player who can provide production with both his bat and his legs. He makes good contact, giving him a chance to reach base each time he's at the plate. Once he's on base, Fowler is a bonus to earn you even more fantasy points with a stolen base. He faces a good matchup with Jeff Samardzija. He's got a .292 average with a home run against the right-hander.
