DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (10/7/16): MLB DFS Advice

As a Mets fan, I was a little bummed out by how the season ended, but that can be expected when dealing with multiple key injuries. On a different note, props have to be sent to Madison Bumgarner, who continues to prove that he's one of the best playoff pitchers in the MLB.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/7/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

Editor's Note: Be sure to check out FantasyAces DFS contests. New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces and make a $20 deposit will receive RotoBaller's full season NFL Premium Pass for free (including Premium DFS), normally a $59.99 value. Expert DFS research, sample lineups, matchup ratings and lots more!

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Boston Red SoxThere are multiple elite pitchers on this slate, so it makes sense to use the best offenses. The Red Sox have dominated the entire season, and even though they get a tough matchup against Corey Kluber, he is dealing with an injury, and the Red Sox have the ability to score on everyone.

Texas RangersJ.A. Happ has had an outstanding season, but he is the worst pitcher on the slate. The Rangers have a potent offense, and Happ has struggled at times on the road this season. The Rangers offense should be able to score a bit today, and they are a great stacking option.

DFS Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Clayton KershawKershaw would easily be the favorite for the Cy Young award if he weren't injured this season. He has looked outstanding, and he's the top pitching option on the slate. He's a -130 favorite in a game set at 6 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.

Jon LesterLester has looked elite at home this season. He has a 1.74 home ERA, and he gets a good matchup against the Giants today. Lester is a -180 favorite in a game set at 7 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Buster PoseyPosey is a great option on this slate. He's fairly consistent and he comes with great upside. He has also hit left-handed pitching well throughout his career, and he's one of the safer options at catcher.

First Base (1B)

David OrtizOrtiz is the most expensive first baseman on this slate, and for good reason. He has loads of power, and he's coming off one of the best seasons of his career. He gets a tough matchup against Kluber, but he's still a great option on this slate.

Second Base (2B)

Ben ZobristZobrist is heating up at the right time. He's hitting over .350 with a good combination of speed and power over his last 10 games. His matchup is undecided, but Zobrist has been playing well enough to be used against anyone.

Shortstop (SS)

Elvis AndrusAndrus is on fire right now, as he's hitting over .400 with good power and speed over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Happ, and Andrus has hit left-handed pitching well throughout his career. He can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Josh DonaldsonDonaldson continues to make a great option on any slate. He has loads of power, and he always seems to play well in big games. He gets a tough matchup against Darvish, but Donaldson has as much upside as anyone on the slate.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Carlos GomezGomez has been one of the hottest hitters for the Rangers over his last 10 games. Over that span, he's hitting over .350 with decent power and speed. He gets a good matchup against Happ, and Gomez can be used in all leagues.

Jason HeywardHeyward's price tag is a bit confusing. He isn't hitting for a high average over his last 10 games, but he has displayed great upside. The Giants have yet to announce a starter for this game, but Heyward is cheap enough to be considered against anyone.
