The MLB season just started, but it has already been a ton of fun. We don't have as many games tonight as we did yesterday, but it's still a sizable slate. There are a few elite options at pitchers tonight, but we also have a ton of high upside stacks. The Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers lead the way.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/4/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Cleveland Indians v. Martin Perez
The Indians have one of the best offenses in the MLB, and they get an elite matchup against Martin Perez tonight. Perez has one of the lowest strikeout rates on the slate, which means the Indians will be able to put the ball in play. They are also -130 favorites in a game set at 9.5 runs, and they're an elite stack on this slate.
Los Angeles Dodgers v. Clayton Richard
The Dodgers are coming off a great game on Opening Day, and they get another elite matchup tonight. Richard has one of the worst WHIP and K/9's on the slate, which bodes well for the Dodgers. This game is only set at 7 runs, but the Dodgers are massive -230 favorites tonight. They're a high upside stacking option.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Jake Arrieta - at STL ($10,400)
Arrieta is an ace that is pitching second in the rotation. He's coming off a great season, and he should continue to see plenty of run support from the Cubs offense this season. He's a -145 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs tonight, and he's an elite option on this slate.
Lance McCullers - vs SEA ($9,500)
McCullers played limited games last season, but he ended with an impressive 2.40 ERA in 10 home starts. He also recorded 80 strikeouts in only 60 innings at home last season. He's a -118 favorite in this game, but he's a pitcher that is best suited for GPPs.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Bustin Posey - at ARI ($3,900)
Posey is always an elite option, but he's significantly better against left-handed pitching. He's a consistent player with elite upside, and he gets an outstanding matchup against Patrick Corbin in a hitter friendly stadium. Posey can safely be used in all leagues.
First Base (1B)
Edwin Encarnacion - at TEX ($4,400)
The Indians are one of the best stacking options on the slate, and Encarnacion is a huge part of that. He's a powerful hitter against a pitcher that rarely strikes batters out. That's a deadly combination for Martin Perez, as Encarnacion can hit a home run anytime the bat hits the ball.
Second Base (2B)
Logan Forsythe - vs SD ($3,300)
Forsythe is expected to move into the leadoff spot with a left-handed pitcher on the mound tonight. He's coming off a great season, and he has surprising power for a second baseman. Forsythe is a great option tonight.
Shortstop (SS)
Yunel Escobar - at OAK ($2,700)
Escobar makes a sneaky salary relief option tonight. He gets a matchup against Sean Manaea, who throws well against left-handed hitters, but struggles against righties. Escobar has decent upside because of his spot in the lineup, and he's a great salary relief option tonight.
Third Base (3B)
Alex Bregman - vs SEA ($3,600)
Bregman displayed elite upside in limited games last season, and he'll be a huge part of the Astros offense this year. He is still relatively cheap, and he gets a solid matchup against Hisashi Iwakuma. Bregman can be used in all leagues.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Brandon Guyer - at TEX ($3,100)
Guyer is set to draw the start for the Indians tonight, and he's a player that specializes against left-handed pitching. He has good power to go along with decent speed, and he gets an elite matchup against Martin Perez tonight. Guyer is an elite salary relief option tonight.
Franklin Gutierrez - vs SD ($3,000)
Gutierrez is another player that specializes against left-handed pitching. He draws a great matchup against Clayton Richard tonight. Gutierrez will likely get pulled after a right-handed pitcher comes in, but he's cheap enough to hit value in only a couple at-bats.
