There are a few sneaky options tonight at pitcher, although the Vegas lines aren't too much in favor of the pitchers tonight. It'll be interesting to see the amount of runs scored on what is expected to be a high scoring night with respectable arms throwing.
Well, let's get down to it!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/10/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Arizona Diamondbacks - The Diamondbacks will be playing in Coors tonight, which is more than enough reason to use them. The game is set at 11.5 runs, and the Diamondbacks have great upside. They can be used in all leagues.
Colorado Rockies - The Rockies will also make a great option, as they are the favorite against the Diamondbacks. The Rockies have loads of power, and they get a great matchup against Rubby De La Rosa. They can also be used in all leagues.
Pittsburgh Pirates - If you're looking to avoid Coors, the Pirates are another great option. They will be playing in a hitter friendly stadium against Alfredo Simon. He has allowed at least three runs in five consecutive games, and the Pirates can be used in all leagues.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Drew Smyly - Smyly has been outstanding on the road this season, as he has a 1-0 record, 0.60 ERA, and 10.2 K/9 in two games. He gets a great matchup against the Mariners in one of the most pitcher friendly stadiums in the league. Smyly is a -115 favorite, and he can be used in all leagues.
Adam Conley - Conley doesn't have a great Vegas line, but he's coming off two great starts and he's cheap. He gets a good matchup against the Brewers, who have looked good recently, but don't have an offense to shy away from. Conley is a -160 favorite, and he can be used in all leagues for his price.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Welington Castillo - Castillo is one of the easiest picks on the night. He's playing in Coors, and he gets a great matchup against a lefty. Castillo is hitting .394 against left-handed pitching this season, and nearly half of his hits have been home runs. He should be used in all leagues.
First Base (1B)
Steve Pearce - Pearce is a sneaky play tonight, as he's cheap and has been playing well over his last 10 games. He is also hitting .370 with 40% of his hits going for extra-bases against left-handed pitching. He gets a great matchup against Wade Miley, and he can be used in all leagues.
Second Base (2B)
Logan Forsythe - Forsythe is another Rays player that has dominated left-handed pitching this season, as he's hitting .367 against southpaws this season. He has been on fire recently, and he can be used in all leagues.
Shortstop (SS)
Jung Ho Kang - Kang has looked great since returning from injury, as he has displayed great power and upside in his limited action. He's hitting in a great lineup and gets an easy matchup against Simon. Kang has great upside, but he's best suited for GPPs until he shows a bit more consistency.
Third Base (3B)
Josh Donaldson - Donaldson's price is a bit laughable tonight, as he should never be the same price as David Wright. He has certainly been cold recently, but he still has displayed great upside on a nightly basis. He gets a matchup against Matt Cain, who has looked awful this season, and Donaldson can be used in GPPs tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Bryce Harper - Harper should always be in consideration, especially when he isn't the most expensive player on the slate. He has been heating up recently, and he has unbelievable upside. He gets a great matchup against Fulmer, who doesn't look like he's ready for the MLB, and Harper can be used in all leagues.
Brandon Drury - The Diamondbacks have been doing everything they can to get Drury playing time, and that will likely continue tonight. He gets a good matchup against the lefty Rusin, and Drury dominated lefties last season. He has great upside in Coors tonight, and he can be used in all leagues.
Marcell Ozuna - The Marlins reported that Ozuna has been spending extra time with Barry Bonds recently and it's showing. Ozuna is hitting well over .300 over his last 10 games, and he has displayed tremendous upside. He gets a great matchup against Davies tonight, and he can be used in all leagues.
