Afternoon baseball is on the ticket for today. With early games, late afternoon games, and the traditional evening games, DraftKings has plenty of contests to participate in.
The usual big hitters will be available, but with few stars on the mound today, it will be a bit tricky to find the right pitcher.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Zach Eflin (RHP)
Eflin has struggled in his three starts this season, allowed 18 hits and 10 earned runs. The Diamondbacks faced him on June 19 and got two runs on four hits in just 5.2 innings. For the season, the rookie right-hander has a record of 0-2 with a 6.28 ERA. Arizona has been swinging the bats well and make for a good stacking option against Eflin. Left-handers Jake Lamb, Chris Herrmann, and Michael Bourn are all good options. Paul Goldschmidt, although a righty, has been hitting over .400 in the last week.
Chicago Cubs vs. Cody Reed (LHP)
Reed is making just the third start of his career, and the first two have not gone well. In 12 innings he's been torched for 15 hits and nine earned runs. In his only home start he allowed five runs on nine hits to San Diego. The Cubs right-handed hitters should be licking their chops today, as righties have hit .357 against Reed this season. Ben Zobrist, Kris Bryant, and Addison Russell are all great options today. Although Anthony Rizzo hits from the left side, he's been hot lately.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Danny Salazar, CLE at ATL - $12,200
Salazar enters today's game having won his last five starts. The three earned runs he allowed his last time out marked the first time since May 22 that he gave up more than two runs. He's been hot and can be counted on for both strikeouts and a low ERA. A matchup with the Braves is a good one, even if it's on the road. Current Atlanta hitters have a lifetime .154 average against him.
Jake Peavy, SF at OAK - $6,600
It is often wise to stay away from a marginal pitcher in a road start, but Peavy actually makes for a good target today. He's been pitching well recently and hasn't allowed more than two earned runs over his last three starts. Oakland has been hitting well as of late, but San Francisco is good enough to avoid losing three straight. The run support should be there for Peavy, makes him a good sleeper for tournaments.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Evan Gattis, HOU at LAA - $3,900
Gattis can sometimes be a frustrating daily fantasy option due to the fact that his low average means that he often has games in which he doesn't get any points. However, his power potential gives him the chance to rack up double-digit fantasy points on a nightly basis. He's actually been a very solid fantasy producer over the last week, getting at least 17 fantasy points three times. Gattis is hitting .357 in the last seven games and is averaging near seven fantasy points a game for the season.
First Base (1B)
Eric Hosmer, KC at STL - $4,100
The Kansas City first baseman has been a very solid fantasy producer this season, averaging over eight points a game. He enters today with a streak of four straight games in which he has recorded at least 10 fantasy points. He gets a good lefty-righty matchup with Carlos Martinez on the mound. He's moderately priced, so enjoy the value.
Second Base (2B)
Neil Walker, NYM at WAS - $2,700
This target is a sleeper pick if you're looking to spend big bucks at another position. Walker isn't recommended for cash games, but he's a good tournament option. He'll likely have a low ownership number given his .250 lifetime average versus Max Scherzer. It's been a struggle for Walker for much of this year, but he's heated up lately, registering seven hits in the last five games.
Shortstop (SS)
Ketel Marte, SEA vs. PIT - $3,400
This is another pick that will help save you cap space elsewhere. Marte still seems to get overlooked, especially in tournaments, but he's been a very consistent fantasy player this season, averaging 6.5 fantasy points a game. The switch-hitter as hit better from the left side of the plate, and that's where he will be against right-hander Jameson Taillon. Marte has been seeing the ball well at the plate and enters today's with a four-game hit streak.
Third Base (3B)
Kris Bryant, CHC at CIN - $5,400
Selecting Bryant will cost you a lot of cap space, but his recent production makes him well worth it. Of course, you can't always expect three-homer, 60-fantasy point games like he did Monday, but it's nice to know what he's capable of. As mentioned earlier, Bryant and his teammates have a very favorable matchup with Cody Reed today, making him a great option for both a lineup stack or just on his own.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Brett Gardner, NYY vs. TEX - $4,200
Gardner is 4-for-6 with a home run and two doubles in his lifetime against opposing starter Nick Martinez. The New York outfielder has performed well when facing right-handers this season, hitting .282 with five hoe runs. He got the night off Tuesday and should be rested up for today's contest. Gardner is averaging seven fantasy points a game and makes for a good option.
Michael Bourn ARI vs. PHI - $3,800
Bourn has upped his game lately, putting up at least 15 fantasy points in three of his last five games. He's been showing good skill at the plate and has also been active on the base paths. He gets a favorable matchup with a southpaw today and should be able to provide solid value for a decent price.
Lorenzo Cain, KC at STL - $3,600
Cain is another player who has seem to get easily forgotten in fantasy baseball, particularly in daily leagues. He enters today with a four-game hit streak and has three double-digit fantasy performances in the last four games. He has particularly heated up over the last week and can be a solid foundation for your lineup today.
