This is quite the change for the Rockies. They were playing in the most hitter friend stadium in the MLB last night and they now will be playing in the most pitcher friendly stadium in the MLB tonight. That's really going to hurt their offensive production tonight.
Well, let's get down to it!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/3/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Boston Red Sox - The BoSox are the most obvious option tonight. They have been as hot as anyone in the MLB, and they get an elite matchup against R.A. Dickey. They are -163 favorites in a game set at 9 runs, and they can be stacked in all leagues.
Pittsburgh Pirates - The Pirates will be playing in a pitcher friendly stadium tonight, but they are still -172 favorites in a game set at 8 runs. They get a great matchup against Weaver, who is a fly ball pitcher and has allowed at least one home run in all but one start this season. They will have a ton of upside tonight.
Chicago White Sox - The White Sox are a sneaky stacking option tonight. They get a matchup against Zimmermann, who has a 2.52 ERA on the season, but he has allowed 15 earned runs (five home runs) in his last four starts. The White Sox are underdogs, but the game is set at 8.5 runs, and they are a great stacking option in GPPs.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Noah Syndergaard - Syndergaard's price recently dropped, which may have to do with his ejection and relief appearance in his last two games. He gets a good matchup against the Marlins and Syndergaard is a -154 favorite in a game set at 7 runs. He can be used in all leagues.
Drew Pomeranz - Pomeranz looked awful in his last start, but he still has a 4-5 record, 2.48 ERA, and 10.7 K/9 through his first 10 games. He gets a matchup against the Rockies in Petco Park, and he's a -132 favorite in a game set at 7 runs. He can be used in all leagues.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
Wilson Ramos - Ramos has been playing extremely well this season, and he gets a great matchup tonight. He has dominated left-handed pitching in his career, and he'll face off against Finnegan in a hitter friendly stadium. Deploy him in all leagues tonight.
First Base (1B)
David Ortiz - If you have the money, Ortiz is the best option. He has been on fire recently, and he's averaging over 15 fantasy points per game over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Dickey, and Ortiz can be used in all leagues.
Second Base (2B)
Neil Walker - Walker has been heating back up recently, as he's hitting .400 over his last 10 games. Unfortunately, the Mets rarely have runners in scoring position, but Walker has gotten around that with home runs. He gets a good matchup against Koehler, and he's a great option.
Shortstop (SS)
Carlos Correa - Correa is flat out too cheap. He has been heating up over his last few games and he has elite upside for a shortstop. He should be priced significantly high, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
Third Base (3B)
Danny Valencia - Valencia is a player that has been outstanding, but never really got a price bump. He's on fire right now, as he's hitting nearly .400 over his last 10 games, and he also has great power. Valencia can be used in all leagues tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Mookie Betts - If you're stacking the Red Sox, Mookie Betts is a must right now. He has been on fire, and he has displayed great power. He can be used in all leagues, as he gets an elite matchup against Dickey.
Carlos Gonzalez - This pricing is extremely confusing. Sure, he's playing away from Coors against a tough lefty, but he's still CarGo. He's hitting nearly .500 over his last 10 games, and he will be one of the first guys entered into my GPP lineups tonight.
Ryan Rua - Rua is a bit of a wildcard, as he rarely starts against right-handed pitching, but he's hot enough to use against anyone right now. He has been consistent over his last 10 games with decent power and speed. He gets a matchup against Walker, and if he's starting, he can be used in all leagues.
