DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/5/19): MLB DFS Lineups

We have a smaller than usual eight-game slate for this Friday and we have some great offenses we want to be stacking, along with having some great hitter's parks in action, which should allow for plenty of runs.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/5/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Shane Bieber - P, CLE vs TOR (DK - $9,300)

You have to ask yourself, are you a fan of Beiber tonight? Well, you should be since he is a solid young pitcher against a bad Toronto Blue Jays team. Last season, he ended with a solid 24.3% strikeout rate, super strong 4.7% walk rate, but a 43% hard contact rate. The Blue Jays active roster had a 25.9% strikeout rate last season versus right-handed pitchers, which is last of any team in the league, along with a very average 101 wRC+. This should make Beiber one of the most popular options as he also comes in as a -155 home favorite.

Rick Porcello - P, BOS @ ARI (DK - $9,100)

Porcello had a very rough start to the season allowing four earned runs in just 2.2 innings pitched against the Mariners, but has a chance to turn that around tonight. He is facing off against the Diamondbacks who are not putting out the best lineup right now since they finished last season with an 89 wRC+ versus right-handed pitchers, which is tied for fifth-worst in the league. Porcello is a much better pitcher than he showed last week and should get back on form tonight.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Francisco Cervelli - C, PIT vs CIN (DK - $3,600)

We are always looking for some savings at catcher since we don't get a ton of fantasy points from them and Cervelli brings that tonight. He is up against Sonny Gray tonight who ended last season allowing at .349 wOBA and 1.06 HR/9 to right-handed hitters.

Anthony Rizzo - 1B, CHC @ MIL (DK - $4,700)

Rizzo has a .378 wOBA and a .211 ISO versus right-handed pitchers from last season and now up against Woodruff, who doesn't have the largest sample size from last season but did allow a 34% hard contact rate in 20 innings pitched. Great hitters park in Milwaukee should make this game stackable.

Rougned Odor - 2B, TEX @ LAA (DK - $4,300)

Odor is a legit power hitter versus right-handed hitters as is shown by his .201 ISO last season against them. The Rangers put up some big runs yesterday and that could be in the cards tonight since they are up against Felix Pena who allowed 1.25 HR/9 to lefties last season.

Marwin Gonzalez - 3B, MIN @ PHI (DK - $4,000)

Gonzalez and the Twins should be a very interesting stack tonight since they are up against Nick Pivetta, who is viewed as a "good" pitcher with his 26% strikeout rate. Yes, Pivetta is good but is also very home run prone, allowing 1.52 HR/9 to lefties last season. Gonzalez and the Twins lefties are the stacks to load up.

Hernan Perez - SS, MIL vs CHC (DK - $3,800)

Perez should be drawn into the starting lineup tonight since the Brewers are facing off against a lefty, which would give Perez the platoon advantage. He had a decent .329 wOBA vs LHP last season, but a surprisingly strong .202 ISO as well.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Andrew Benintendi - OF, BOS @ ARI (DK - $4,600)

Benintendi is somewhat of a big splits hitter, meaning you don't really want him against LHP, but only RHP, as he is facing the latter tonight. Up against Zack Godley should prove to be beneficial as he allowed a .324 wOBA, a 10% walk rate, and a whopping 39% hard contact rate to lefties last year.

Josh Reddick - OF, HOU vs OAK (DK - $4,100)

Reddick and the Astros are struggling right now but he is in a spot to put up some solid fantasy numbers against Frankie Montas, who simply couldn't get left-handed hitters out last year. He allowed a .375 wOBA, .362 OBP, and a 49% hard contact rate.
