DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Madison Bumgarner - P, vs SD ($9,400)
Bumgarner hasn't looked great through his first three starts this year, but that can easily change with his matchup against the Padres. San Diego has just a .300 wOBA versus lefties this year with a 25.1% K-rate, which is the third-highest mark in the league. We all know the type of potential Bumgarner has, so snagging him at this price can be an outstanding value.
Chad Kuhl - P, vs ARI ($6,700)
Kuhl is still making his start tonight after being rained out last night and is actually even cheaper than he was yesterday. You may not have noticed, but Kuhl has actually had a very strong last 30 days, where he's struck out 28 batters in 29 1/3 innings with a 2.45 ERA. He faces an easy Diamondbacks lineup that is 27th in wOBA versus righties with their .292 mark, and they've also got a 25.3% K-rate.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Devin Mesoraco - C, at COL ($3,700)
There aren't many cheap options for hitters playing in Coors Field, but Mesoraco is very affordable. He's got a .341 wOBA versus left-handed pitching this year and still has lots of power in his bat, as he already homered in Colorado on Monday. As long as he's in the lineup, Mesoraco has a very high ceiling playing in the league's best offensive environment.
Jose Abreu - 1B, vs OAK ($4,000)
Abreu has been cold lately but still has strong numbers on the year, with a 124 wRC+ as the three-hitter for the White Sox. That's a great spot for both runs and RBIs against Chris Bassitt, who gave up six runs his last time out.
Ian Kinsler - 2B, vs TOR ($3,900)
Kinsler is crushing the ball right now, with five homers and a 1.016 OPS in the last 15 days. He's got lots of value as the Angels leadoff hitter, where he will get lots of plate appearances and plenty of chances to score. Jays starter Aaron Sanchez has a 4.64 FIP, so Kinsler should benefit from a high-scoring game.
Travis Shaw - 3B, vs STL ($4,100)
Shaw is in a great position for fantasy production as the cleanup hitter for one of the best lineups in baseball. Likewise, Miller Park is an extremely hitter-friendly park. Carlos Martinez has looked awful as of late, and Shaw is at full strength as he was in the lineup for yesterday's rainout.
Marcus Semien - SS, at CWS ($4,100)
Lucas Giolito is probably the worst starter on today's slate, so taking the guy leading off against him is a good bet. Semien has been heating up lately with two homers in the last week and a five game hitting streak.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Jason Heyward - OF, at CIN ($3,900)
Heyward bats second for the Cubs against right-handed pitchers and has hit well over the last 30 days, posting a .322 average with an .867 OPS. He can produce well against Matt Harvey, owner of a 5.92 ERA, in one of the best hitter's parks in the league. Heyward doesn't have a ton of power upside, so I'd avoid him in GPP contests, but his high floor makes him attractive in cash games.
Andrew McCutchen - OF, vs SD ($4,000)
McCutchen has a nice power/speed combo that gives him lots of different ways to score fantasy points. He's batting .321 with three homers in his last 15 games and he's easy to work in to your lineups at his price.
