DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Corey Kluber, CLE (at KC) - $11,000
Even in a "down year" for Kluber's standards, he's still got a 2.74 ERA with a 2.75 Deserved Run Average. He's got a fantastic matchup on Saturday against the Royals, who are one of the weakest teams in baseball against right-handed pitching with a .298 wOBA. Kluber's one of the safest investments you can make at starting pitcher.
Anibal Sanchez, ATL (at MIA) - $8,200
Surprisingly, Sanchez's success this year is supported pretty strongly by his peripherals. He's got a 24.7% K-rate with just a 7.6% walk-rate and has become a viable option when he's away from Atlanta, a hitter's park. Sanchez gets a great pitcher's park in Miami against a lineup with only a .293 wOBA versus righties, third-worst in the league. Atlanta's lineup should provide Sanchez with the win, and you can get him for pretty cheap.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
C - Evan Gattis, HOU (at LAA) - $3,900
Even with his recent struggles, Gattis is one of the best options at catcher with 24 bombs this year. Angels starter Jaime Barria has a 3.41 ERA, but his 4.58 FIP and 4.45 SIERA show signs of regression. Gattis can rack up lots of RBIs in the stacked Astros lineup.
1B - Edwin Encarnacion, CLE (at KC) - $4,600
Edwin and the Indians lineup can tee off on Heath Fillmyer, owner of a 4.57 ERA. Encarnacion's price will likely only go up from here, so this is a chance to get him at a nice value. He's a great play in GPP contests.
2B/1B - Neil Walker, NYY (at BAL) - $3,700
Walker is one of the few Yankees bats you can get for cheap as they enter an extreme hitter's park in Baltimore. He should see lots of RBI opportunities batting fifth for the Yanks against Jimmy Yacabonis, who has an abysmal 6.75 ERA. Walker went deep last night and could very well do so again.
3B/2B - Jedd Gyorko, STL (at COL) - $4,300
It's odd that Gyorko isn't more expensive playing in the ultimate hitter's environment in Coors Field. Gyorko has been one of the Cardinals best hitters lately with a .915 OPS over the last month. Take advantage of this cheap Coors bat.
SS - Marcus Semien, OAK (at MIN) - $4,300
Semien has been crushing the ball over the last 15 days, batting .327 with a .947 OPS and three homers. Steven Gonsalves had a rough debut, and it's not going to get any easier for him facing the hot A's lineup. Try using Semien as part of an Oakland stack.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Eddie Rosario, MIN (vs. OAK) - $4,300
Rosario has an outstanding 130 wRC+ against righties this year and will be batting third for the Twins, a spot where he can earn both runs and RBIs. Even with recent success, Mike Fiers still has a 1.44 HR/9 and won't have Oakland's ballpark to help him - Rosario can definitely go deep in this matchup.
Corey Dickerson, PIT (at MIL) - $4,100
Miller Park is an excellent park for offensive production, so Dickerson can have a huge day as the Pirates leadoff man. He's got a 122 wRC+ against right-handers and comes at an affordable price.
Joc Pederson, LAD (vs. SD) - $4,300
Pederson is another leadoff man to grab as he bats first in the loaded Dodgers lineup. He will get plenty of plate appearances against Brett Kennedy, who has an 8.36 ERA, so Pederson will have lots of opportunities for production and runs scored.
