DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Jacob deGrom - vs ATL ($13,200)
deGrom has been the best pitcher in the MLB this season, and he has been playing even better than that over his last 10 starts. Over that span, he owns a 4-3 record with a 1.66 ERA. He also owns a 1.66 ERA at home this season. deGrom has also allowed only four earned runs in 33 innings against the Atlanta Braves (five starts) this season, but he owns an 0-2 record against them. He's a -161 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs tonight.
Masahiro Tanaka - at TB ($9,500)
Tanaka has featured plenty of ups and downs this season, but his upside in undeniable. He features a 4-3 record with a 3.02 ERA over his last 10 starts, and he has scored 29.9 and 40.2 fantasy points in two of his last three. He gets a good matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays in a pitcher friendly stadium, and Tanaka is a -172 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Tyler Austin - 1B, vs DET ($3,900)
Austin's numbers don't pop off the page over his last 10 games, but he does own 37% hard-hit and 41% fly ball rates with a 95 mph exit velocity over that span. He has also been a more consistent and a more powerful option against left-handed pitching. Austin gets a matchup against Matt Boyd, adding to his value tonight.
Travis Shaw - 2B, at STL ($4,500)
Shaw has quietly been heating up recently, as he's hitting .250 with three home runs, five RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He also features 61% hard-hit and 57% fly ball rates with a 95 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Shaw gets a solid matchup against John Gant, and he features elite 0.121 wOBA and 0.217 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching.
Eduardo Escobar - 3B, vs LAD ($4,100)
Escobar hasn't been playing at his highest level recently, but he has continued to make a consistent option on a near nightly basis. He gets a tough matchup against Ross Stripling, but Escobar owns 0.012 wOBA and 0.099 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He's also hitting second in the Arizona lineup.
Freddy Galvis - SS, at SF ($3,600)
Galvis is leading off for the San Diego Padres, and he has caught fire recently. Over his last 10 games, Galvis is hitting .368 with a .632 slugging percentage and a 1.032 OPS. He also owns 48% hard-hit and 44% fly ball rates with a 93 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Galvis also gets a plus matchup against Casey Kelly.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Curtis Granderson - OF, at STL ($4,000)
Granderson has struggled with consistency over his last 10 games, as he is only hitting .182 over that span. He also owns three extra-base hits with one RBI in those games, as well. He's leading off for one of the better offenses in the MLB, and he gets a solid matchup against John Gant tonight. Granderson also brings 0.114 wOBA and 0.121 ISO differentials into this game.
Robbie Grossman - OF, vs DET ($3,700)
Grossman is entirely too cheap all around. He's hitting .342 with a .526 slugging percentage and a .949 OPS over his last 10 games. Grossman is also hitting fourth in the Minnesota lineup, and he gets a good matchup against Matt Boyd tonight. Grossman also owns 0.063 wOBA and 0.019 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. He's an easy plug-and-play in all leagues.
