DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Gerrit Cole - at BAL ($12,800)
Cole is by far the most expensive pitcher on tonight's slate, but he's well worth the price. He's put together a dominant 2018 campaign, posting a 2.63 Deserved Run Average with an insane 35.1% K-rate. The Orioles are among the weakest lineups against right-handed pitching with their .305 wOBA. Cole is a strong and safe investment tonight.
Marco Gonzales - vs TEX ($8,800)
Gonzales has been awesome in his three starts back from the DL, putting up a 2.25 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP. He's a safe play thanks to his minuscule 4.6% walk-rate, which will minimize baserunners. Gonzales has pitched much better than his ERA may suggest, as he's got a 3.49 FIP and a 3.61 DRA. The Rangers are a very weak lineup when they're not at home, with a .293 wOBA and a 25.1% K-rate. Gonzales is a steal at this price.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Tyler Austin - 1B, vs DET ($4,000)
Austin has hit left-handed pitching very well this year, with a 126 wRC+. He'll be batting fifth for the Twins, a nice spot for RBIs, against Francisco Liriano. Liriano has a weak 5.18 FIP, making him an ideal target.
Daniel Murphy - 2B, vs PIT ($4,100)
Murphy has tons of value as a leadoff hitter, as he will get lots of opportunities to produce at the plate. He enters tonight with a seven game hitting streak, and can easily score some runs with the stacked Cubs lineup behind him.
Josh Donaldson - 3B, at KC ($4,500)
Donaldson is in an awesome spot batting cleanup for the Indians against Glenn Sparkman, owner of a 4.86 ERA. While Donaldson hasn't done much this season, he's still got the potential of an elite hitter, and you can get him for cheaper than that tonight.
Jean Segura - SS, vs TEX ($4,200)
Rangers starter Ariel Jurado is one of the worst pitchers in all of baseball, with an 8.6% K-rate and an 8.1% walk-rate - plus an evil 6.66 ERA. I would recommend a Mariners stack against him, and Segura is a great place to start as Seattle's two-hitter.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Starling Marte - OF, at CHC ($4,200)
Marte has been one of the best fantasy outfielders this year with 19 homers and 33 steals. He's got the potential for a huge game on any given night with his power/speed combo, so I'd look for him in GPP contests. Marte deserves a much higher price for the season he's had.
Josh Reddick - OF, at BAL ($4,400)
Reddick is leading off for the Astros in an extreme hitter's park in Baltimore. He can do some damage against David Hess, who has a 5.85 FIP.
