We have a monster 15-game slate to break down today, and there are some great options across the board. There are a few high-priced pitchers on the slate you should be looking to pay up for, along with plenty of bats you want to jam into your lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/4/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Justin Verlander – P, HOU vs MIN (DK - $12,300)
Verlander has 11 or more strikeouts in three of his last six starts, which is why he is one of the most expensive pitchers on the slate. He has given up three or more earned runs in three straight starts, which can be a bit concerning, especially when pay his price. The matchup for him is good, as the Twins have a very average .317 team wOBA vs RHP, so this is a good spot for Verlander to get back on track.
Jake Arrieta – P, PHI @ MIA (DK - $7,400)
Arrieta has a nice positive park shift in his favor, as he is away from Philly and now in Miami, which is a fantastic pitcher’s park. He is up against the Marlins, who come in with a 22% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season, along with a team ISO of .122, which is dead last in the league. A great price tag on him today, along with having a very easy matchup.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Yadier Molina – C, STL @ WAS (DK - $3,800)
Molina comes in with a solid .327 wOBA and .169 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, which continues to make him one of the more favorable options at catcher under $4K. He is up against Erick Fedde, who is giving up a .413 wOBA to righties this season, but comes from a small sample size.
Paul Goldschmidt – 1B, ARI vs SDP (DK - $5,000)
Goldy might be one of the top plays on the entire slate, with his .434 wOBA and .289 ISO vs left-handed pitchers this season. He is viable in all formats tonight since he is up against Joey Lucchesi, who is giving up 1.63 HR/9 to righties this season.
Alen Hanson – 2B, SFG @ COL (DK - $3,700)
Hanson and the Giants get a massive positive park shift for this series since they are at Coors Field, which means all of their hitters are in play. Hanson is under $4K, which is a bit rare for being in Coors, but he comes in with a .215 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season.
Kris Bryant – 3B, CHC @ MIL (DK - $5,100)
Bryant is back from the DL and has a few hits in his first few games, but is a bit more expensive than I would want to pay. He is in a great hitter’s park in Milwaukee and comes in with a .482 wOBA vs left-handed pitchers this season.
Elvis Andrus – SS, TEX vs LAA (DK -$3,700)
Andrus and the Rangers come in with an implied run total set over 5, so we should be in a good spot for some runs. He comes in at a very fair price and will have the platoon advantage against Andrew Heaney, who is giving up 1.46 HR/9 to righties this season.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Matt Holliday – OF, COL vs SFG (DK -$3,900)
It’s great to see Holliday back in a Rockies uniform and with him being under $4K, you get great exposure to the Coors Field game. He has a .333 ISO vs right-handed pitchers, but it clearly comes from a very small sample size.
Matt Kemp – OF, LAD vs NYM (DK - $4,100)
Kemp is hot right now with one home run and five RBIs in his last two games and now finds himself in a fantastic spot to continue this streak. He is up against Jason Vargas, who is one of the worst pitchers in the league, and comes in giving up a .385 wOBA to righties and 1.88 HR/9.
