Am I the only one wondering how Nerlens Noel is so much better with Ish Smith? It really doesn't make any sense to me, but my fantasy teams are loving it!

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/2/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Ish Smith (at LAC, $7,200)

Smith’s price continues to rise, and he continues to be a bit underpriced. There is not reason to avoid him right now. He is playing heavy minutes for the Sixers, and he clearly is the leader of their offense. He has the ability to potentially contribute in all five categories, and he gets a good matchup against the Clippers tonight. Los Angeles has somewhat struggled guarding point guards, and Ish Smith makes a great play in all leagues tonight.

Trey Burke (vs MEM, $4,600)

Burke has been forced into big minutes and a bigger offensive role with Alec Burks injured. Burke has an extremely high usage rate, and he’s now playing minutes in the mid-30s. Burke gets a good matchup against the Grizzlies, who he has already dominated for 33.3 fantasy points earlier this season. He has scored 35.75 fantasy points in each of his last two games, and Burke makes a great play in all leagues for his price.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Khris Middleton (at MIN, $6,800)

Middleton has been on fire recently, as he’s averaging 25.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.0 steal per game over the last 10 days. He’s coming off two consecutive 50 fantasy point games, and he gets a great matchup against the Wolves, who love pushing the pace in games. Middleton is playing huge minutes for the Bucks, which makes him a fairly safe option, and he makes a great play in all leagues tonight.

Rodney Hood (vs MEM, $5,100)

Hood is another beneficiary of the Alec Burks injury, and he has been taking shots in the teens over his last few games. He’s a good scorer, but he flashed the ability to add peripheral stats, as well, as he scored 41.75 fantasy points in his last game. The Grizzlies have played fairly well against the shooting guard this season, but Hood has a great opportunity to score and he’s fairly cheap still. He can be used in tournaments tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (vs HOU, $8,500)

Leonard has been playing well on a per minute basis recently, as he’s averaging 19.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals in 33.5 minutes per game. He gets a great matchup against the Rockets tonight, who have been the worst team in the NBA against small forwards this season. Leonard dominated them on Christmas, as he scored 20 points with eight rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and five steals in 39 minutes. He isn’t priced quite a high as the other elite small forwards, and he can be used in all leagues.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at MIN, $6,600)

Alphabet is starting to heat up, and he has a great fantasy ceiling when he’s hot. In his last two games, he has scored 34.5 and 42.5 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Wolves team tonight, who have struggled on defense at times this season. He is priced fairly low because of his struggles, but he has tremendous upside, as he has the ability to contribute in all five categories. He’s playing big minutes, and he’s fairly safe tonight because of his low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Draymond Green (vs DEN, $9,600)

Green is coming off another triple double, and he has been a great fantasy player all season. He displayed his full arsenal of skills in his last game with Stephen Curry out, as he scored 10 points with 11 rebounds, 16 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. He’s a triple double threat every time he steps on the court, especially if Stephen Curry is out again tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Nuggets, who have struggled defensively this season, and Green can be used in all leagues.

Cody Zeller (vs OKC, $5,000)

Zeller has been heating up recently, as he’s averaging 10.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game over the last 10 days. He’s playing big minutes because of the injuries to Al Jefferson and Spencer Hawes. Hawes could play tonight, but Jefferson is out. Zeller will likely still play fairly big minutes regardless of who plays, and he gets a good matchup against the Thunder. Zeller has been consistently enough for both cash games and GPPs.

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan (vs PHI, $7,800)

Jordan has been playing well without Blake Griffin, as he’s averaging 11.7 points, 13.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game. He gets a great matchup against the Sixers, who have one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and Jordan should easily be able to dominate them. He has double doubled in four consecutive games, and it would be surprising if he doesn’t double double tonight.
