DraftKings DFS Guards
Mike Conley (at LAL, $7,200)
The key to success in DFS has recently been taking players against the Lakers. Los Angeles has been allowing a ridiculous amount of point each night, and Conley scored 45.5 fantasy points in only 29 minutes against them in his last game. He has been playing extremely well recently for an injured Memphis team, and that will likely continue tonight. The Grizzlies will have a few great plays tonight, and Conley can be used in all leagues.
Jeff Teague (vs CHI, $6,000)
Teague recently scored 15.5 fantasy points in a game because he was injured, but he was on fire before that, consistently scoring 30+ fantasy points each night. He’s a focal point of the Hawks offense, and Teague proved in his last game that he’s healthy enough to play big minutes. He will likely play 30+ minutes tonight, and he gets a great matchup against an injured Bulls team. Teague has played well against them in limited minutes this season, and he can be used in all leagues.
D’Angelo Russell (vs MEM, $5,200)
The Lakers are finally unleashing D’Angelo Russell on the NBA, as he’s their new starting point guard. He scored 40.0 fantasy points against the Grizzlies in his last game, and he’ll continue to run the offense tonight. He’s guaranteed big minutes, and Russell isn’t the type of player to shy away from open shots. This will likely be the lowest his price is for the rest of the season, and he will make a great option in all leagues until his price increases a bit.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
DeMarcus Cousins (vs LAC, $10,600)
Cousins is coming off an awful game against the Spurs, but he was still able to score 40.5 fantasy points, and the Spurs have arguably the best defense in the NBA. He’ll likely get back on track tonight, as the Clippers defense isn’t nearly as tough as the Spurs. Boogie’s price is on the decline, but he has tremendous upside, and he also has been fairly consistent recently. He’s also a significantly better player at home, although he’s best suited for GPPs right now.
Matt Barnes (at LAL, $5,400)
As I mentioned before, I love playing guys against the Lakers, and Barnes is going to play huge minutes for the Grizzlies. He’s coming off a great 43.5 fantasy point game against the Lakers, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him dominant them again tonight. The Lakers love pushing the pace to games, and they rarely play defense. Barnes certainly comes with a bit of risk, which is why he’s best suited for GPPs tonight.
Brandan Wright (at LAL, $3,700)
Wright is finally healthy, and he’s playing fairly big minutes for an injured Memphis team right now. He’s coming off a good game, in which he scored 27 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Lakers. Wright has seen his minutes increase in each of his last three games, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him play upwards of 25 minutes tonight. He should be able to hit value at his low price tag in that amount of time, and he can be used in all leagues.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Al Horford (vs CHI, $7,100)
Horford has been playing fairly well recently, and he’s coming off a ridiculous 69.5 fantasy point performance. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Bulls, who he is averaging 47.5 fantasy points against this season. Horford tends to play well in great matchup, which is the case tonight. He certainly comes with risk, as he has recently scored 19.5 fantasy points just a few games ago, and he can be used in GPPs tonight.
Marcin Gortat (at PHI, $6,700)
Aside from his last game, Gortat has been extremely consistent recently. He’s a big part of the Wizards offense, and he’s the best rebounder on a smaller team. Gortat gets a great matchup tonight against a weak Philadelphia defense, who he dominated for 44.3 fantasy points earlier this season. Gortat can fill the stat sheet in multiple categories, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
