DraftKings DFS Guards
Stephen Curry (at OKC, $10,700)
This is a game that has been hyped up by the media, which means Curry is going to take it over. It seems as if he can score whenever he wants each night, but he only hits his upside in close games. He has scored 76.25, 64.75, and 63.0 fantasy points in his last three games, and the Thunder will be looking to upset the Warriors tonight. This game is going to be fast paced, and I prefer Curry for a few hundred dollars cheaper than Westbrook tonight.
Ricky Rubio (at NO, $6,400)
This was a tough pick, as I was debating between Jrue Holiday and Rubio here, but ultimately I opted to use Rubio, who is significantly cheaper. He’s one of the streakiest players in the NBA, and he has been on fire recently, as he has scored 40.25, 37.0, and 40.25 fantasy points in his last three games. The Pelicans love pushing the pace to games, but they have one of the worst defenses in the NBA. Rubio has the ability to contribute in four categories, and he’s one of best passers in the NBA. Rubio has been playing well enough for all leagues tonight.
Ronnie Price (vs MEM, $4,000)
Price tends to go a bit overlooked in the Suns rotation, but it looks like he’s going to be the feature point guard for the time being. He has scored 59.25 fantasy points in his last two games while playing 65 minutes. His price continues to raise at an extremely low rate, and there’s no reason he should be this cheap tonight. He gets a good matchup against the Grizzlies, who rookie D’Angelo Russell recently dominated, and Price can be used in all leagues.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Kevin Durant (vs GS, $10,100)
If you don’t want to pay up for Westbrook or Curry, Durant is another great way to get a major piece of this game. He’s the second half of the Thunder offense, and he’s coming off a great 65 fantasy point performance against the Pelicans. Durant is an elite scorer, and he’ll need a huge game if the Thunder want to pull off the upset. He has also been contributing in multiple other categories, and Durant is a great option tonight.
Gorgui Dieng (at NO, $6,800)
Gorgui Dieng’s price is outrageous at this point, and he’s a daily plug and play. Aside from one terrible game, Dieng is averaging 42 fantasy points per game over his last six contests. The Pelicans love to push the pace of games, which means Dieng will have plenty of opportunities to score fantasy points tonight. He’s one of the best plays on the slate, and he can be used in all leagues.
Mirza Teletovic (vs MEM, $5,300)
The Suns are in shambles right now, which has led to big minutes for Teletovic recently. He isn’t a great player, but he has the ability to heat up, as can be seen from his 47.25 and 38.0 fantasy point performances. Each of those performances have been over his last four games, and he has been playing exceptionally well recently. He played 30 minutes in his last game, and took 23 shots, including 13 three-pointers. He’s a player that can heat up quickly, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Dwight Howard (vs SA, $7,200)
Howard has really been playing well recently, as he has scored 39+ fantasy points in five of his last six games. He gets a tough matchup against the Spurs, who have a great overall defense, but have somewhat struggled against opposing centers this season. Howard is still fairly cheap, but he’s playing huge minutes, and the upside he possesses is tremendous. He can be used in all leagues, as the center options are all that appealing tonight.
Enes Kanter (vs GS, $4,800)
It’s tough to trust Kanter because he only plays 15-20 minutes per game most nights. On occasion, he plays 25+ minutes, which is when he has great upside, and also becomes fairly consistent. The Warriors have struggled at times against the center this season, as Al Horford recently dominated them for 70 fantasy points. Kanter scored 35.3 fantasy points in only 19.3 minutes earlier this season, and he’s a great GPP option tonight.
