DraftKings DFS Guards
Stephen Curry (vs HOU, $10,600)
Curry ended the season on fire, as the Warriors closed out the best season in NBA history. Now it’s time for the playoffs, which means Curry is going to be playing the entire game unless it gets ridiculously out of control. I don’t expect that to happen, though, and Curry is averaging 53.0 fantasy points in 32.3 minutes per game against the Rockets. He’s the third most expensive guard on the slate, but he has as much upside as anyone. He can be used in all leagues.
Jeff Teague (vs BOS, $6,100)
The Hawks ended the season on a high note, and Jeff Teague had a lot to do with that. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 33.4 fantasy points per game. He doesn’t get an ideal matchup against the Celtics, but he’s averaging over 1.0 fantasy point per minute against them, and he will likely be playing 30+ minutes per game in the playoffs. He isn’t all that expensive, and he can be used in all leagues.
Patrick Beverley (at GS, $5,300)
The Rockets will need someone besides James Harden to step up if they want to knock off the defending champs. Beverley is the perfect player to do that, as he has a sweet stroke from downtown and can contribute in multiple categories. He ended the season on fire, as he was averaging 32.6 fantasy points per game over the last 10 days. Beverley comes with quite a bit of risk, but he’s cheap and has tremendous upside, especially in a fast paced game. He can be used in GPPs.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Paul Millsap (vs BOS, $8,300)
Millsap ended the season nearly as hot as anyone in the NBA. Over his last 10 games, he struggled in two, but he averaged 52.3 fantasy points per game in the other eight games. He can contribute in each of the five categories, and I’m expecting him to have a slightly larger role, as he’s going to have to step up for the Hawks in the playoffs. He recently scored 72 fantasy points against the Celtics, and he can be used in all leagues.
Kent Bazemore (vs BOS, $5,000)
Bazemore is dealing with an injury, but he’s expected to play tonight. He was on fire to end the season, as he averaging 37.4 fantasy points in only 27.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s an extremely streaky player, and it would be wise to use him while he’s on fire. Bazemore is also a great scorer, and generally teams look to get scorers a bit more involved in the playoffs. He’s a great cheap option tonight.
Solomon Hill (at TOR, $3,400)
Hill is a complete wildcard, as he finished the season strong, but he may not see many minutes in the playoffs. Over the last 10 days, Hill is averaging 32.3 fantasy points in 31.3 minutes per game. He has been playing too well to completely bench, but it will be interesting to see if the Pacers give him 30+ minutes. Tonight, he’s best suited for GPPs until his role is a bit more defined.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Jonas Valanciunas (vs IND, $5,200)
This is a fairly weak slate of centers, and Jonas Valanciunas makes a lot of sense. His price tag is low and he has loads of upside. He generally doesn’t play consistent minutes, but the Raptors are at their best when JV is on the court. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him play 30+ minutes tonight, which is when he scores 30+ fantasy points. Still, he comes with quite a bit of risk, so he’s best suited for GPPs tonight.
