DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/19/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The showtime Los Angeles Lakers headline Tuesday's four-game slate. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have lead the Lakers to a 11-2 record and currently sit atop the Western conference.

With only four games, James and Davis are easily the highest priced players for Tuesday's slate. Both will be popular options for good reason. Let's find some value players you could potentially pair up with one or both of these stars.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/19/19.  You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG/SG, OKC @ LAL ($6,100)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been a top candidate for most improved player of the year award. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored in double figures in every game so far and his points per game is up to 20.4, an increase of 9.6 points over his rookie season last year. This is mostly due to his robust 25.8 usage percentage this year. Surprisingly, his usage actually increases to 27.0 percent when on the road. Gilgeous-Alexander may have his hands full against the surging Los Angeles Lakers, but his price tag has decreased considerably. If you draft him, you would have to hope he can break through the armor of the Lakers defense.

Alec Burks - PG/SG, GSW @ MEM ($5,000)

The Golden State Warriors are down Klay Thompson (knee), Stephen Curry (hand) and now D'Angelo Russell (thumb). The last remaining member of the critically-acclaimed big four is Draymond Green, who started last game at point guard. The Warriors need an offensive playmaker and they may have one in Alec Burks. Burks really struggled with his shot last game, but the plus side was Burks was able to hoist up 13 shots in the starting lineup. He also was a focal point in running the offense as evident by his five assists in 29 minutes. At the current price tag, Burks is a high-risk, high-reward option in this slate.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jaren Jackson Jr. - PF/C, MEM v. GSW ($5,600)

At this point, opponents are most likely circling their calendars when they get to face off against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are the ranked last in defensive rating this season and keep losing players to injury. Golden State also has the fourth-worst defensive rebound percentage as a team and gives up the fifth-most offensive rebounds to opposing teams. Jaren Jackson, Jr. has to be salivating at the chance to face this team after starting to find his groove. Jackson has scored at least 14 points in five of his past six games. There is always a chance he gets caught up on foul trouble (averaging 3.8 fouls per game this season), but the matchup is too good to pass up.

J.J. Redick - SG/SF, NOP v. POR ($5,100)

The New Orleans Pelicans are yet another team who has caught the injury bug this season. Josh Hart (knee, ankle), Jahlil Okafor (ankle) and Derrick Favors (knee) are already ruled out while Brandon Ingram (knee) and Lonzo Ball (groin) are both questionable against the Portland Trail Blazers. All these injuries has opened the door for sharpshooter J.J. Redick who has been on fire lately after a slow start. Redick has averaged 22.8 points and 5.3 three-pointers per game while shooting 44.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three. The Pelicans are catching the Trail Blazers at home on Portland's second night of a back-to-back. All signs point to another three-point barrage from Redick.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Jaxson Hayes - C, NOP v. POR ($4,900)

As mentioned earlier, the New Orleans Pelicans are riddled with injuries right now. This has created numerous opportunities for role players to step up. This includes rookie center Jaxson Hayes. Hayes got the start against Golden State Sunday and recorded a double-double in 32 minuets. Hayes only put up five shots, but finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and a steal in the start. Both Okafor and Favors are expected to sit out Tuesday, allowing another spot start for Hayes. Look for Hayes if you need value at center.
