DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/25/19): NBA DFS Lineups

With Thanksgiving on the horizon in the United States, we’re treated to an 11-game Monday slate that features a feast of all fantasy players’ favorites. No matter what type of lineup you’re looking to build, we here at RotoBaller are attempting to find you a name or two that stands out and puts you over the top.

As is normally the case with any chunk of games that features 11 contests, there are stars out in bunches. But after scouring the numbers, here are five plays that stand out.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/25/19.  You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Malcolm Brogdon - PG/SG, MEM v. IND ($6,000)

The Pacers are expected to get their floor general back for Monday’s game against Memphis and with his price tag not having reacclimated to his activation, Brogdon owns vastly too much DFS potential to ignore. While there exists the distinct possibility that his level of play may not immediately return to where it was prior to his three-game absence, getting Brogdon at this low of a number against a defense that is allowing the fourth-most DraftKings points to opposing point guards (51.9) this season is too much of a bargain to pass up. Brogdon relayed that he feels “100 percent” entering the contest, which should alleviate some concerns and pave the way for him to deliver near his totals of 19.2 points and 8.2 assists per contest.

Brad Wanamaker - PG/SG, SAC v. BOS ($4,300)

Without Kemba Walker presumably in the mix Monday, Wanamaker is the favorite to enter the starting five and see an increased workload. The 30-year-old has never started a game in his NBA career, but has finished in double figures in scoring in each of his last three games, all while playing at least 27 minutes in each contest. Wanamaker is likely to draw a considerable amount of DFS interest across the board, as he will help owners squeeze other star players onto their squad. Marcus Smart is also a name to consider in this slot, as he has already seen an increased role for Boston (14.4 points per game over his last seven outings) without Gordon Hayward in the mix.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Eric Paschall - SF/PF, OKC v. GS ($5,900)

With Draymond Green entering Monday listed as questionable to play versus Oklahoma City, Paschall could be sitting in the catbird seat for production for the Warriors. Price tags on Golden State’s new starting five has finally caught up to them, although Paschall's appears a little low for the level of production that he has reeled off as of late. In his 10 starts, he is averaging 20.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest, which varies drastically from the 10.2 points and 3.3 rebounds on a nightly basis that he gets coming off the bench. Considering that he’s likely to remain in the starting five even if Green suits up, it’s hard not to see how Paschall won’t have a significant role in the Warriors’ offense. Considering Green’s lack of offensive reliability and the team’s general willingness to distribute the ball in hopes of finding the hot hand, Paschall presents a very strong cash play at his level.

Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, SAC v. BOS ($6,900)

There is one crucial word in mind when it comes to this Tatum selection during a packed slate Monday: shots. And Tatum should get a whole pile of them. While it’s never clear until the game tips off sometimes who will be the go-to guy in a situation where a team doesn’t have their leading scorer, it seems like a safe bet that Tatum is going to see an increased offensive role without Walker in the mix versus Sacramento. While the Kings’ defense has been vastly improved through the first 1/5th of the 2019-20 campaign, Tatum, who has averaged 20.5 points on 18.4 shot attempts per game, is in line to see both of those numbers bumped up, which makes his price decrease over the last week a potential coup.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN @ ATL ($10,400)

Towns has spent the early portion of the 2019-20 season trouncing the opposition. He is in the midst of a six-game stretch that has seen him log a double-double each time out, average 4.5 made threes per contest and record at least 50 DraftKings points in five of his last six contests. Factor in that the Hawks don’t possess a big man capable of slowing Towns over 48 minutes and he quickly materializes as my favorite play on the board in either cash or GPP. As a team, Atlanta is yielding 240.4 DK points to opposing teams this season, the third-worst mark in the league; with Towns sure to be responsible for a lion’s share of the offensive work, it’s not unreasonable to expect a high floor during what should be a high-scoring affair.
