DraftKings Quarterback - Conference Championship DFS Pick
Aaron Rodgers (at ATL, $8,100)
This may not be the most contrarian recommendation in the world, but Aaron Rodgers has been too good of recent to pass on him in 50/50 contests or tournaments. For his price tag, Ben Rothelisberger makes for a decent tournament option, but Rodgers is by far the best on the board for fantasy purposes. The Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers are supposed to showcase their offenses this week, in what should be one of the highest scoring NFL Playoff games in recent memory. Rodgers is likely going to throw for at least three touchdowns. Make sure to have him in that lineup.
DraftKings Running Back - Conference Championship DFS Pick
Dion Lewis (vs PIT, $5,300)
Dion Lewis had a huge week against the Houston Texans, and Bill Belichick showed a lot of confidence in the young running back, allowing him to score a touchdown in the red zone. LeGarrette Blount generally gets the red zone touches, so that is encouraging for Lewis. He also has the ability to return a kickoff for a touchdown, which he did last week. For his price tag, his ability to contribute in the rushing, passing, and special teams attack is a great added upside. Roster him in all leagues.
DraftKings Wide Receiver - Conference Championship DFS Pick
Eli Rogers (at NE, $3,400)
Eli Rogers should be used in tournaments only, but he is a very high-upside wide receiver option against the New England Patriots. The Patriots are going to focus heavily on stopping both Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, so Rogers should see quite a few targets. Last week, he saw seven targets, caught eight passes, and gained over 25 yards. His price tag is very low, which will make rostering both Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers much easier. If he gets seven targets again, a touchdown is not out of the question for Rogers.
DraftKings Tight End - Conference Championship Pick
Martellus Bennett (vs PIT, $3,300)
Martellus Bennett is the best tight end option of the week. Jared Cook has been playing much better for the Green Bay Packers of recent, and Jesse James has high upside, but Bennett should see the most targets and has the greatest upside. His price tag is also very reasonable. He is significantly cheaper than Cook and could definitely outperform him. Roster Bennett in both 50/50 contests and tournaments this week.
DraftKings Defense - Conference Championship Pick
New England Patriots Defense (vs PIT, $4,000)
The Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons game is projected to be one of the highest scoring in recent NFL Playoff history, which only leaves the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers game for defenses. The Patriots are expected to win this game, and should hold the Steelers to less total points than the Steelers do the Patriots. Due to that, even with the higher price tag, the Patriots defense is the best on the board this week.
