DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 15 DFS Picks
Matt Ryan (vs SF, $7,300)
Matt Ryan is having a fantastic season, passing for over 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns so far in 2016. In his latest outing, which was against the Los Angeles Rams, he posted over 20 fantasy points, throwing the ball only 28 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns. If this game would not have gotten out of hand so quickly, Ryan could have scored over 30 fantasy points without a doubt. He did all of that without Julio Jones. This week, Jones should return to the Atlanta Falcons' starting lineup, and the San Francisco 49ers are in for a long day. Use Ryan in all leagues.
Colin Kaepernick (at ATL, $5,800)
Fantasy owners are more than likely still upset about Colin Kaepernick's two fantasy point outing against the Chicago Bears two weeks ago, but having a terrible short-term memory is great for daily fantasy football. In his last game, the 49ers' starting quarterback only threw for 133 yards and one touchdown, posting 11.6 fantasy points against the New York Jets. He does, however, have great upside. Against the Miami Dolphins, he threw for just under 300 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for over 100 yards, as well. In that game, he posted just under 40 fantasy points. Use him in tournaments this week against Matt Ryan and company.
DraftKings Running Backs - Week 15 DFS Picks
David Johnson (vs NO, $10,100)
After last week's performance by Le'Veon Bell, most fantasy owners are going to swing his way, especially with the lower price tag. That is not necessarily the best option. David Johnson is an elite-level running back that had a down week. His price tag is a little bit ridiculous, but prior to last week, he was consistently posting over 30 fantasy points. The Arizona Cardinals treat him like a wide receiver, but also allow him 15-20 carries per game. The New Orleans Saints are not going to have an answer for Johnson once he gets going. Use him in all leagues this week.
Lamar Miller (vs JAX, $5,400)
Lamar Miller looked great last week. He posted over 20 fantasy points, rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts. Unfortunately, the Houston Texans are not utilizing Miller in the passing attack, which is sort of strange considering Brock Osweiler has trouble throwing the ball farther than five yards. Regardless, Miller should see enough volume on the ground this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars to hit value without any targets. If he gets involved in the passing game, it is just an added bonus. For his price tag, Miller can be used in all leagues, but he is best suited for tournaments.
DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 15 DFS Picks
Mike Evans (at DAL, $8,300)
The Tampa Bay Bucs were unbelievably horrendous against the New Orleans Saints last week, including Mike Evans. Evans only caught four of his eight targets for 42 yards and no touchdowns. He failed to score against the San Diego Chargers a week prior, as well, but he still makes for a fantastic tournament option this week against the Dallas Cowboys. In his last eight games, he has three with double-digit touchdowns. His price tag is rather high at this point in the season, but he is worth it. Do not use Evans in 50/50 contests, as he is far too inconsistent, especially with Jameis Winston at the helm.
Jamison Crowder (vs CAR, $5,400)
Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon are both playing great football right now for the Washington Redskins, but it is Crowder that has the great upside this week against the Carolina Panthers. Defenses seem to forget about Crowder once or twice per game, and he generally makes them pay. Last week, he struggled, catching only two passes for 37 yards, but he scored the week prior against the Arizona Cardinals. He has a touchdown in four of his last six games, and touchdowns win fantasy leagues. It is that simple with football. Use Crowder in all formats this week.
DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 15 DFS Picks
Eric Ebron (at NYG, $3,700)
Eric Ebron is not one of the better tight ends in the league, at least talent wise, but he does have great upside this week against the New York Giants. The Giants are horrible against opposing tight ends, and Ebron has been seeing multiple targets per week recently. Against the Chicago Bears, he caught four of five targets for 32 yards. In the game prior, which was against the New Orleans Saints, he caught four of six targets for 38 yards. If he continues to absorb targets, he will find the end zone eventually. There is no better way to ensure fantasy success than getting a cheap tight end that scores a touchdown. Use Ebron in tournaments.
DraftKings Defenses - Week 15 DFS Picks
Miami Dolphins Defense (at NYJ, $3,200)
The Miami Dolphins defense looked great against the Arizona Cardinals last week, and they will have to play great this week against the New York Jets, if they want to win. Ryan Tannehill is out with a sprained ACL, so the Dolphins are unlikely to score consistently. The Jets are horrible offensively and turn the ball over quite frequently, which bodes well for the fantasy success of the Dolphins defense. Defenses are highly unpredictable, but this is a solid matchup.
