Below are some DraftKings DFS lineup picks for today's NBA action, March 4th, 2015. These players represent potential fantasy basketball sleepers based on their matchups, and can be strong DFS lineup plays based on their DraftKings prices and dollar values.

Keep in mind, DFS fantasy basketball is a fast-paced environment that includes last minute changes, so be sure to check NBA injury reports and your DFS lineups prior to tip-off.

Editors Note: for live banter about NBA DFS lineups and strategies, be sure to check out RotoBaller's famous fantasy basketball chat room at the bottom of this article.

Worth the DraftKings Investment

Ricky Rubio (MIN, G - $7,800)

Coming off of a triple-double, Rubio will be a very popular pick tonight. Despite scoring over 40 fantasy points in six of seven games, Rubio has only seen a gradual rise in price. Not does Rubio nearly guarantee a double-double bonus, but he has also had at least one steal in 10 straight games. Along with that, the Wolves are at home against a Nuggets team that is on the back end of a back to back and are working in a new coach. It will be hard not to find a spot for Rubio tonight who should easily hit 5X value.

Serge Ibaka (OKC, F - $8,000)

Yes Russell Westbrook has been the big beneficiary of the Kevin Durant injury, however Ibaka has picked his game up to a new level as well. The do it all forward has over 40 fantasy points in five of seven games due to his solid contributions across the board, including his double-doubles as well as six straight games with multiple blocks. Even though Westbrook is expected to play, Ibaka could still be the main cog of the offense with Westbrook less than 100%. Any time you get a defensive stud who is also a top offensive option against Philadelphia you need to exploit it.

Marc Gasol (MEM, C - $7,500)

Gasol is quietly one of the most effective daily fantasy players in the game. For some reason he has a value of just $7,500 even though he is averaging 38.3 Draftkings points per game on the season. With averages of 18.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 blocks per night, it is almost impossible for Gasol to put up less than 25 fantasy points. He may not have the upside of a DeAndre Jordan or Hassan Whiteside, but his stellar defense means his floor is extremely high. He also saves you a large portion of $ over those other players. A matchup against a Houston team that does not have a true center is also a plus. If Zach Randolph would happen to sit again Gasol becomes an even better play.

DraftKings Value Picks

Matt Barnes (LAC, F - $4,300)

Be sure to check Barnes’s injury status prior to the game as he did miss last game with a groin injury. He has said he plans to play tonight which should mean he gets his normal allotment of 30+ minutes on a shallow Clippers roster. Tonight Los Angeles plays a Portland team that is 26th against opposing small forwards which is a boost for Barnes. At just $4,300 all Barnes will need to do to hit value is post 21 points, which he has done in five of the last nine games. He is a great under-the-radar play in a GPP.

Greivis Vasquez (TOR, G - $4,600)

All indications are that Kyle Lowry will sit out again tonight against the Cavs which makes Vasquez an easy plug and play option in both cash games and tournaments. In his last start Vasquez was not spectacular but still posted 23.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes. Given that he is the only true point guard on the team, Vasquez is a near lock to see at least 28 minutes again and will only need to score 23 points to hit 5X value. Also do not be surprised if Cleveland puts up a less than stellar effort tonight. This will be their third game in four nights and they are already slowed by injuries to Kyrie Iriving and an illness for Kevin Love.
