Worth the DraftKings Investment
Reggie Jackson (DET, G) - $8,700
Although most assume Andre Drummond has been the major fantasy benefactor of Greg Monroeâs absence (and he certainly has been good), it is actually Jackson who has seen the major boost. In his time with Detroit, Jackson has seen a massive 33.2 usage rate without Monroe on the floor. That has translated into huge fantasy games including several fantasy point totals above 50 over the last two weeks. He has seen a rise in price, but to his 5x value tonight he only needs to hit 43.5 fantasy points which he has now done in seven of his last eight games. Tonight Jackson will go head-to-head with Kemba Walker, whoâs strong point is certainly not his defense.
Anthony Davis (NO, F) - $11,400
Just because it's super obvious does not mean it's not right. Despite players like James Harden and Russell Westbrook also having great match-ups, Davis is the odds on favorite to be the top scoring fantasy player of the night. He has been over 49 fantasy points in six straight games, which is what you are looking for at this price. Facing a front court of Ryan Kelly and Tarik Black means Davis should easily exceed his averages of 24.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per night. It may be a stretch, but there is certainly a scenario where he hits the same 84.5 fantasy point night he did just two weeks ago.
Enes Kanter (OKC, C) - $7,500
It is clear that the Thunder did very well in getting Kanter at the deadline, as he has solidified the center position in Oklahoma City. Without Kevin Durant, Kanter has become the second leading scorer for the team, and his usage rate of 24.6 without Durant is only behind Westbrook on the team. With no Durant on the floor, Kanter is average 1.11 DraftKings points per minutes, which is great news. Kanter may be a bit under-owned tonight, as most people associate Tyson Chandler with great defense. However, Dallas is actually 24th against opposing centers this season. Kanter makes for a great GPP play tonight.
DraftKings Sleepers & Value Picks
Lorenzo Brown (MIN, G) - $3,900
With so many top end options in great match-ups, you will need to find a lot of value to fit everyone in tonight. That starts with Brown who has seen a giant spike in minutes for Minnesota recently. With injuries to Kevin Martin, Gary Neal and Ricky Rubio, only Brown and Zach Lavine remain as healthy point guards on the team. Over the last five games, Brown has played over 30 minutes in all five and has responded with over 20 fantasy points in each. He has yet to score more than 10 points in a game, but he contributes with a solid all-around game of assists, rebounds and steals. Assuming Martin is out again tonight, Brown looks like one of the main plug and plays for Wednesday.
Reggie Evans (SAC, F) - $3,100
The extreme value plays continue with Evans at just $100 over the minimum salary. The Kings are expected to be without DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay tonight, which means more playing time for nearly everyone in the Kings front court. Even though Evans does not have the scoring upside of a Jason Thompson or Omri Casspi, he has one of the best rebounding rates in the league when he is on the floor. He has a spectacular chance of hitting double-digit rebounds. If he can duplicate his scoring the other day (seven points) and puts in 10 or more rebounds that would easily exceed 5x value. Evans is one of the few players on the board with 10x value upside, and he would be a great way to fit in the Hardens, Davisâ and Westbrooks of the world.
