DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Detroit Tigers vs Phil Hughes
The Tigers get an elite matchup against arguably the worst pitcher on the slate. Hughes comes into this game with a terrible 1.528 WHIP, 5.256 K/9, and 1.563 HR/9. The Tigers have played well early in the season, and they are -139 favorites in a game set at 8.5 runs. They're an elite stacking option in all leagues.
Milwaukee Brewers vs Bronson Arroyo
The Brewers get a great matchup against Arroyo, who struggled in his first game this season. He allowed six runs, including two home runs, in only four innings. This game will be played in an extremely hitter friendly stadium, and it is set at nine runs. The Brewers are a high upside stack tonight.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Madison Bumgarner vs Colorado Rockies
Bumgarner is an elite option every time he steps on the mound. The Giants have proven that they are not afraid to throw him deep into games early in the year, and he has an elite 10.013 K/9. He gets a good matchup against the Rockies, who have a team total of 2.6 runs tonight. Bumgarner can safely be used in all leagues.
Jason Vargas vs Oakland A's
Vargas looked outstanding in his first start, and he's one of the better options on this slate for his price. He gets a good matchup against the A's, and he'll be playing in a pitcher friendly stadium. Vargas is a -125 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and he's a solid salary relief option on this slate.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
James McCann - vs MIN ($2,900)
McCann has been a better hitter against left-handed pitching throughout his career, but he has gotten off to a hot start this season. He has displayed tremendous power for his position, and he still comes with a cheap price tag. He's a great option in all leagues.
First Base (1B)
Eric Thames - at CIN ($4,000)
Thames has looked outstanding early this season, as he's hitting over .300 with good power. He's no longer a cheap option, but he gets an elite matchup in a hitter friendly stadium tonight. He's a crucial part of a Brewers stack.
Second Base (2B)
Rougned Odor - at LAA ($4,000)
Odor has been a consistent option, who also comes with tremendous upside. He has good power for his position, but he also comes with solid speed that has not been on display yet this season. He has hit right-handed pitching extremely well, and Odor can be used in all leagues tonight.
Shortstop (SS)
Manny Machado - at TOR ($4,700)
Machado has gotten off to a slow start this season, but he has displayed the double and home run power that he is known for. He gets a great matchup against Liriano, who struggled in his first start this season, and Machado makes an elite option tonight.
Third Base (3B)
Nick Castellanos - vs MIN ($3,800)
Castellanos has enjoyed his new position in the batting order, as he has looked great in the two hole. He gets a great matchup against Hughes today, and Castellanos has a .028 ISO and .106 wOBA differential against right-handed pitching. He's an outstanding option for his price tag tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Nomar Mazara - at LAA ($3,500)
Mazara enters this game with an elite .155 ISO and .081 wOBA differential against right-handed pitching. He's hitting in the middle of the Rangers lineup, and he gets a good matchup against Nolasco, and Mazara continues to be too cheap. He can be used in all leagues.
Andrew Benintendi - vs PIT ($4,200)
Benintendi gets the majority of his power against right-handed pitchers, and he gets a good matchup against Kuhl today. Benintendi has gotten off to a fast start, and his price is finally where it should be. He's hitting in one of the best lineups in the MLB, and he can be used in all leagues.
