DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (4/28/17): MLB DFS Advice

Friday brings a full slate of games Friday evening, with all 30 teams in action. That means that the lineup combinations are nearly limitless. As always, picking the right starting pitchers, along with a mix of big bats and sleepers will be key.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/28/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @barryleonardjr.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

San Francisco Giants vs. Luis Perdomo (RHP)

Although the Giants didn't pick up the win the last time they faced Luis Perdomo they hit him hard. Perdomo gave up five earned runs on seven hits in just five and 1/3 innings. Brandon Belt homered off of him in that game, and Joe Panik ripped a double.

Cleveland Indiana vs. Ariel Miranda (LHP)

Ariel Miranda was hit hard in his last start and has allowed four earned runs twice in his last three outings. The lefty presents a good matchup for a Cleveland lineup that heavy with right-handed and with hitters. Righties have five home runs against Miranda this year, so target guys like Edwin Encarnacion, Francisco Lindor, and Jose Ramirez.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Chase Anderson MIL vs. ATL , $7,100

Chase Anderson has started the year 2-0 with an ERA of just 1.13. He's struck out 22 while walking just six. Friday brings a very favorable matchup with the Atlanta Braves. Anderson has thrown shutouts in two of his four starts this season and has a great chance for win number three Friday.

Jameson Taillon PIT at MIA, $7,400

Jameson Taillon had a rough outing his last time out, allowing four runs against the Yankees, but has three quality starts prior to that. Against the tough lineups of Cincinnati, Chicago, and Boston, Taillon allowed a total of two earned runs. He's 1-0 on the year with an ERA of 2.13. Friday's matchup with

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Welington Castillo- BAL at NYY, $3,600

Welington Castillo has enjoyed a solid first month in Baltimore, hitting .300. He's coming off a two-hit performance Wednesday and has proven to be a solid catcher for daily fantasy lineups. He's averaging nearly six fantasy points a game and gets a favorable righty-versus-lefty matchup with C.C. Sabathia Friday.

First Base (1B)

Anthony Rizzo - CHC at BOS, $5,300

Anthony Rizzo has become a fixture on target lists for daily lineups thanks to the way he's been producing. You'll have to pay a high price, but Rizzo has been one of the top fantasy producers so far this season. Although he's going up against lefty Drew Pomeranz Friday, don't fade him. Despite being a lefty himself, Rizzo has raked against southpaws this year, hitting .353 with two home runs.

Second Base (2B)

Jose Ramirez - CLE vs. SEA, $4,300

As mentioned above, the Indians make for a good stacking option Friday against lefty Ariel Miranda. Jose Ramirez, who can slot in at either second or third base, is an excellent DFS target. The switch hitter has been better as a lefty, but he's still hitting .278 from the right side. He enters Friday with a five-game hit streak, including three hits Thursday. Ramirez has been one of the top producing fantasy second basemen, averaging over 10 points a game on DraftKings.

Shortstop (SS)

Hernan Perez - MIL vs. ATL , $3,600

Hernán Perez has been on fire lately and has seen his average rise from .179 to .260 in the last three games. He's averaging seven DraftKings points, but has racked up an average of 26 over the last three games. He's a cheap option that can be used either at shortstop or in the outfield.

Third Base (3B)

Evan Longoria - TB at TOR, $4,100

Evan Longoria is off to a rough start this season. His average is just .227, and he hasn't been producing like he has in the past. Due to the slow start, Longoria has remained fairly low-owned in daily leagues. He's worth a start Friday thanks to being 9-for-24 lifetime against Marcus Stroman with two home runs, two doubles, and four RBI.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Charlie Blackmon - COL at ARI, $5,000

This one is expensive, but there's plenty of value to nab at other positions in order to afford Charlie Blackmon. The Colorado outfielder enters Friday with an 11-game hit streak and has two home runs over the last three games. He's recorded at least 16 points on DraftKings in five of his last six games. Blackmon gets a great matchup Friday, as he is 11-for-19 with two home runs against opposing starter Robbie Ray.

Aaron Judge - NYY vs. BAL, $4,300

New York rookie outfielder Aaron Judge is living up to his billing so far. He's got a ton of power, but he'll also strike out at a high rate. However, he's been able to control it so far and is hitting .275 on the year. He already has seven home runs and has been a great asset to daily fantasy lineups. Judge will look to take advantage of a matchup Friday against lefty Jayson Aquino. So far in 2017 Judge has hit .400 with two deep flies off of southpaws.

Bryce Harper - WAS vs NYM, $5,200

Another high-priced outfielder who is well worth the price is Bryce Harper. The Washington slugger is hitting .418 and slugging .823 with eight home runs this season. He's riding a three-game hit streak, including a 4-for-4 performance Wednesday. Harper is 7-for-18 lifetime with a home run against Jacob deGrom, so the numbers are in his favor Friday. Also, Harper has hit .364 with three home runs at Nationals Park this season.

DFS Hitters to Avoid on DraftKings

Curtis Granderson - NYM at WAS, $3,600

Curtis Granderson is having a dismal 2017 so far, and things likely won't get better for him Friday. He's hitting .147 and has been just plain awful over the past week. Granderson was always a batting average risk, but used to be able to provide power. Now, it's rare that he even does that. You'd already plan to avoid him Friday, but throw in his lifetime .158 average against Stephen Strasburg, and avoiding Granderson is a no-brainer.

Victor Martinez - DET vs. CHW, $3,700

Victor Martinez is another hitter to avoid during Friday's slate. Despite heating up over the past few days, he's still struggling, hitting just .213 -- far below his career .300 average. He hasn't fared well in his career against opposing starter Mike Pelfrey. Martinez is 5-for-25 lifetime with five strikeouts against Pelfrey.
