DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (5/25/17): MLB DFS Advice

Today is broken into two slates that are similar in size. Neither slate is very big, but there are plenty of plays on the early and late slate, though. This article focuses on both of these slates.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/25/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Cleveland Indians vs Tim Adleman

The Indians have struggled a bit recently, but they will be playing at home tonight, where they have been a significantly better offense. They get an elite matchup against Adleman, who enters the game with a 6.19 ERA and a 2.0 HR/9 through seven games. Cleveland is a massive -201 favorite in a game set at 9.5 runs, and they're an elite offense on this slate.

Colorado Rockies vs Vince Velasquez

The Rockies have struggled a bit on the road this season, but they will be playing in a hitter friendly stadium today. They get a great matchup against Velasquez, who has struggled with a 7.25 ERA and a 2.4 HR/9. Colorado is a -114 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and they make a high upside stack today.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jacob deGrom - vs SD ($12,100)

deGrom has been enjoying an elite season, as he enters this game with a 3-1 record, 3.56 ERA, and 12.3 K/9 through nine starts. He has also been a significantly better fantasy option at home, and he gets a great matchup against the Padres. deGrom is a ridiculous -210 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs, which sets the Padres run total at 3.1 or the lowest of the slate. deGrom is a player to pay up for tonight.

Kenta Maeda - vs STL ($8,800)

Maeda is a frustrating player, as he tends to throw five innings or deep into games depending on his pitch count. Maeda is coming off an injury, which is a bit worrisome, but he has had time to rest over the last couple weeks. He gets a good matchup against the Cardinals, and Maeda is a -137 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs. He does come with a bit of risk, but he is cheap enough to be considered in all leagues.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Kurt Suzuki - vs PIT ($3,200)

Suzuki has caught fire recently, as he's hitting over .350 with surprising power over his last 10 games. He has been a significantly better hitter at home, as well, and he gets a good matchup against Ivan Nova today. He's still too cheap, and he can safely be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Eric Thames - vs ARI ($4,700)

Thames is only hitting .250 over his last 10 games, but he has added speed to his power over that span. He has been a fairly consistent option recently, but he also comes with great upside. He gets a good matchup against Robbie Ray, and Thames can be used in all leagues tonight.

Second Base (2B)

Jose Ramirez - vs CIN ($4,100)

Ramirez has been ice cold recently, but he'll be playing at home tonight, where he is hitting over .350 on the season. He gets a great matchup against Tim Adleman, and Ramirez is a crucial part of the Indians offense. He can be used in all leagues because of the matchup.

Shortstop (SS)

Trevor Story - at PHI ($4,300)

Story recently returned from injury, and he looked good in his first game back. He has struggled this season, though, which adds a bit of risk to him as a player. He does come with great upside, as he comes with good power and speed, and he's an elite tournament option today.

Third Base (3B)

Jake Lamb - at MIL ($5,300)

It's tough to pay up for Lamb tonight, but it could be a mistake to avoid him. He's hitting over .400 with elite power over his last 10 games. He is a player that also comes with some speed, as well. He gets a great matchup against Zach Davies, and Lamb can be used in all leagues on this slate.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Charlie Blackmon - at PHI ($5,600)

Blackmon has been playing at an elite level recently, as he's hitting nearly .450 with a tremendous combination of speed and power over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Vince Velasquez, who has struggled at home this season. Blackmon isn't going to come cheap, but he can safely be used in all leagues.

Bradley Zimmer - vs CIN ($3,700)

Zimmer has only played in a few games this season, but he has looked good in that time. He's hitting nearly .300 while flashing both speed and power. He gets a great matchup against Tim Adleman, and Zimmer isn't going to be this cheap for long. He's a great salary relief option.
