The Toronto Jays starter is now 9-2 on the season. In total, Hutchison has a 5.33 ERA, but when he’s at home in Toronto, the right-hander has a 7-1 record with a 2.21 ERA. On the road, he has an 8.81 ERA. It's been over two months since he lost at home.
The 24-year-old allowed 24 runs over his last four starts on the road. Fortunately for him, the Blue Jays are one of the top offenses in MLB when it comes to scoring runs. Unfortunately for Hutchison, he’ll be on the road in Oakland for his next start.
The Blue Jays are now 46-46 and 4.5 games out of first place, which is occupied by the New York Yankees.
