ANALYSIS: Rafael Soriano has been yanked from the closer's role in Washington, and Drew Storen has been pitching admirably as his replacement. Racking up three saves over the last 7 days, Storen is now making his way onto our waiver wire sleepers list for closers. He's been pitching extremely well all season long, posting a stat line of 1.29 ERA, 0.96 WHIP with 42 K over 49 IP. Storen hasn't allowed a run since August 5th, which is the equivalent of his last 15 appearances, and has been utterly dominant over the timeframe. It looks like he should hang onto the closer role for the rest of the MLB season, and his ownership numbers are just way too low right now. If you need saves down the home stretch, go grab Storen immediately.
