BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 21% of leagues
ANALYSIS: If Dwight Howard is not the best backup center widely available and with more than a reasonable path to fantasy points these days, then I don't even know... While the Sixers are still pretty much fighting to retain the no. 1 seed from being snatched by Brooklyn, the most probable outcome is that they hold onto it. No matter what, though, Dwight seems like a lock to not fall from 15 MPG and not go above 20 either, but it's not that he's needing ample playing time to showboat.
In his last seven games spanning two weeks of play, Dwight has averaged a 9-9-1 line which might look low... until you realize he's been posting those numbers on a rather paltry 18 MPG with a 20.6% usage rate. Dwight has dub-dubbed in three of those seven games, and he's fallen short of it in two other games by either just one point or two rebounds. Howard has been everything Philly can expect from him these days if we're honest.
Dwight is putting up efficient games by the day, and that's been the case for quite some time now. In fact, getting back to the start of March and from that point on, Howard has had 25 games of above-average per-minute play (1.39 FP/min) while putting up an overall 1.27 FP/min mark on the total 30-game sample. Just in the last couple of weeks, he's been able to average a sublime thanks to his 1.40 FP/min, one of the highest among reserves league-wide. Not a lock to do it on a day to day basis, but a very close player to a 10-10 baseline to close the year.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
