Storylines can change quickly in the NFL. The New York Giants are proof of just that. After starting the season with two losses in which leads crumbled in the fourth and final quarter, the Giants have managed to rattle off three consecutive victories against the Redskins, Bills and 49ers.
Truthfully, none were as impressive as that which took place last night against the latter. Completing 41 of 54 passes for 441 yards and three touchdowns, Manning kept the Giants’ momentum heading in the right direction.
Though an impressive game filled with many monumental monuments, none were as exciting as Manning’s fourth-quarter, 82-yard drive ending with a touchdown to Larry Donnell to win the game.
While Easily Manning’s best game, the quarterback’s Week 6 outlook shouldn’t be overly aggrandized, seeing as how both Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle could potentially be playing with hamstring issues against the Philadelphia Eagles. That said, for fantasy owners with Manning as their top option, things appear to be on the up and up.
