ANALYSIS: The Lions were eliminated from postseason contention with their upset loss to Cincinnati in Week 16, but head coach Jim Caldwell doesn't seem keen on resting his starters in the season finale against the Packers. That means the likes of quarterback Matthew Stafford and Ebron will play out the string.

That's great news for those in need of a tight end in Week 17 or for anyone that has been riding Ebron the last several weeks. Mostly inconsistent in 2017, Ebron has become a target hog in the passing offense in recent weeks, seeing 26 targets in the last three games.

He's caught 20 passes over the last three weeks and has also scored in back-to-back games as his fantasy value is spiking at the right time for fantasy owners. Even though Green Bay's defense has mostly held tight ends in check this year, Ebron should at least be a low-end TE1 streamer to close out the year.
