BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 27% of leagues
ANALYSIS: At least judging by wRC+, Evan Longoria hasn't logged an above-average offensive season since 2016, back when he was still with the Tampa Bay Rays. But so far in 2021, Longoria has produced a 134 wRC+, good for his best season by that measure since all the way back in 2012.

The most recent of Longoria's four homers came on April 13, and he has only three extra-base hits (all doubles) in May, so there could be some concern that the power production was a brief fluke to start the year. However, Longoria's .211 isolated power to go with his .399 xwOBA (as compared to a .366 actual wOBA) indicate that the round-trippers, or at least plenty of extra-base hits, should return. Furthermore, Longoria's .561 xSLG, good for the 92nd percentile across the majors, is a full 87 points higher than the actual number. Longoria is also posting a career-high 15.2 percent walk rate, which is the biggest reason his OBP has reached a career-high number and should give Longoria a very safe fantasy floor even in less power-driven streaks.
Consistently batting in the middle of the Giants' first-place lineup, Longoria should continue to be a very solid under-the-radar producer. He should be added in fantasy leagues with 12 teams or more.
