ANALYSIS: Believe it or not, Campazzo is a 29-year-old rookie. That's the easy joke to do in every writeup about the Argentine, so forgive me for pulling it off. Now, on to more serious stuff. Denver is currently playing without both Gary Harris and P.J. Dozier, both injured, and while they should be back in the very short term, Campazzo is the one taking on their opened minutes, something he's made the most of so far through a week of 25+ minute games.
It's been four matches in which Facu has logged as many minutes, and he even got the starting call on Feb. 16 against the Celtics when he went on to play a season-high 39 minutes. All those four games finished with Campazzo in the 10+ points realm, with the Argentinian hitting 2+ treys in each of those four matches topping at 3 against the Lakers. Facu is a low-maintenance guy with low usage rates, but he does what he tries to nicely and is always going to hand you his 10-1-3-2 baseline as long as he keeps playing those 25 minutes.
Campazzo's current run will be cut as soon as Harris and/or Dozier are back, but even then Facu is playing nicely and should get his 10-to-15 minutes of playing time nightly. Campazzo is shooting 56% from the floor in the last four games, going to the line 4 times a pop, and hitting 80% of his freebies. Not the worst of flyers to take in the deepest leagues.
