BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 28% of leagues
ANALYSIS: No more than a couple of weeks ago, rookie (yes) Facundo Campazzo's rostership was at around five percent in Yahoo leagues. A week ago it had risen to slightly above 10%. Entering Saturday it was already sitting at near 30%. If you are good at spotting trends, you know what's coming: a steady increase in rostership from this moment on, which makes sense considering how the injury bug has been (and keeps) hitting Denver: Jamal Murray got done for the year, and then Monte Morris and Will Barton followed him. Ugh.
Facu has gone from playing 18 MPG from Dec. 23 to Apr. 6 to now averaging 29 MPG in the last 13 GP starting on Apr. 7 when he started for the first time since Feb. 16. The usage rate is obviously low and will stay there with all of Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., and Aaron Gordon as the true linchpins of the squad, but Campazzo just keeps on doing his work out there now manning the point for a still-contending Nugs.
The efficiency numbers are horrific, mind you, but that's mostly because of the massive playing time, but the large minutes of playing time are allowing him to rack up counting stats. Campazzo has dropped 12+ points in three of his six games played in the past 10 days with an average of 10.3 PPG in that span. He's dropping 1.7 3PG since Murray came down and he became a nightly starter back on Apr. 7 (13 GP), and he's adding a near 3-6-1 rest-of-line in the past couple weeks of games. If he had a slightly higher volume of shots going his way, he'd be a reasonable target to consider in shallower leagues; that's not the case, though, so Facu is more of a true-deep-league WW target these days even on a starting role.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
