The Colorado Rockies are playing the San Diego Padres in Colorado. Everyone knows what to do.
What about the Boston Red Sox? Who else makes for a great play on FanDuel?
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/10/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Colorado Rockies
The Colorado Rockies get a great matchup tonight against Andrew Cashner and the San Diego Padres. They are playing in Coors Field, which gives them a huge bump, and they are the top stack on the board. Use them in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox are one of the best hitting teams in the league, and tonight, they should hammer Tyler Duffey and the Minnesota Twins. With studs like David Ortiz and Mookie Betts on the team, it is going to be hard to argue against a BoSox stack. Use them in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
New York Yankees
The New York Yankees make for a great tournament stack tonight against the Detroit Tigers and Mike Pelfrey. He is not one of the better pitchers in the league, and the Yankees have a ton of power, especially in New York. Home runs should come early and often in this one.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Stephen Strasburg is simply the best pitcher on the board tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies are not going to score against him, and he already has 100 strikeouts this season. There is no reason to avoid him. Ignore his high price tag, and use him over Clayton Kershaw.
The Red Sox are generally known for their hitting, so when a pitcher is recommended, it has to be a great matchup. Well, tonight is a great matchup for Steven Wright, as he will face off against the strikeout happy Minnesota Twins. He has been solid so far this season, and he should continue to pitch well.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C) - Wilson Ramos
It is tough to argue against Wilson Ramos right now. He had eye surgery in the offseason to help him see better, and it looks like it worked better than expected. He is hitting close to .350 and has power to boot. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. Buster Posey better watch out this season.
First Base (1B) - Carlos Santana
Carlos Santana has not been hitting great so far this season, but his low price tag and great power makes him a solid option in tournaments against the Los Angeles Angels. He has nine plus fantasy points in two of his last four games, one of which was over 25. Do not use him in 50/50 contests.
Second Base (2B) - Starlin Castro
Starlin Castro is entirely too cheap right now. He is hitting over .250 with nine home runs and 10 doubles. He has over 20 fantasy points in three of his last five games. Continue to use him in all formats until he cools down, which does not seem to be any time soon.
Shortstop (SS) - Trevor Story
FanDuel is not respecting the power that Trevor Story has in Colorado. His price tag is entirely too low, and quite honestly, he should be the only shortstop used tonight. He gets a great matchup against the San Diego Padres, and he is very likely to hit value.
Third Base (3B) - Jhonny Peralta
Jhonny Peralta recently returned to the lineup for the St. Louis Cardinals, and he is hammering the ball at the plate. There is currently no stopping him, so continue to use him until he cools off. In his last game, he posted over 30 fantasy points, and he scored 19 in the game prior to that.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Matt Kemp is one of the more powerful San Diego Padres' hitters. He gets a solid matchup against Jon Gray, who is actually a great pitcher but unfortunately is pitching in Colorado tonight. Kemp has over 20 fantasy points in two of his last six games, posting over nine fantasy points in three of them. Use him in tournaments only.
Jackie Bradley Jr gets a great matchup tonight, as does the entire Boston Red Sox team. He has over 15 fantasy points in two of his last four games, and his price tag is definitely too low. He is hitting over .300 this season with nine home runs. Use him in all formats.
