Offensive Stacks
Houston Astros vs Jesse Chavez
Chavez is having a rough go of things lately, and has given up seven or more hits in three of his last four starts. He doesn't have good command of his stuff right now, and going in to Houston, which is a great hitters parks, versus one of the best offenses in the league....this won't end well for him. He has a 4.56 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP, load up on the Astros bats, all are in play today.
New York Yankees vs Kevin Gausman
The Yankees have scored 41 runs over their last four games. That is an amazing level of production, and vs Gausman who they've already seen two times this season, and have 16 hits off of him, they are set to do it again. They have a super powerful offense, and this game is at home for them, so a super favorable hitters park, every player is viable today.
FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Chris Archer - P, vs OAK ($11,000)
Archer is a great cash game option for today, and he is just a bit cheaper than Scherzer. Archer has 106 strikeouts in 86 IP this season, so a great average, and consistently gets you the points you need via strikeouts. Archer's match up today couldn't be better, he is up against Oakland who has the third worst strikeout vs right-handed pitching, sitting at 24.8%. This is exactly the type of match up want, and should expect eight or more strikeouts from Archer today.
Carlos Carrasco - P, vs CWS ($9,800)
Carrasco is even cheaper than Archer, and is also sitting in a favorable spot. He is up against the White Sox who have a 23.8% strikeout rate this season vs right-handed pitching. Carrasco is coming off of a poor start, and this match up is a perfect rebound spot. He has a fantastic 0.85 WHIP this season, and should be in a spot where he will limit the damage and get you the points you need for either cash or tournament lineups.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Gary Sanchez - C, vs BAL ($3,800)
Sanchez is super hot right now, and has three home runs over his last three games. This season, he has a .360 wOBA and a .214 ISO vs right-handed pitching. This game is at Yankee Stadium, so a super favorable hitters park, and should be an option for cash or stacks today.
Marwin Gonzalez - 1B, vs LAA ($3,400)
Gonzalez is always a nice option at first base, and is on the cheaper side. This season he has a .456 wOBA and a .340 ISO vs right-handed pitching, and this being at a hitters park, great upside here. Great option for a stack, since the Astros have one of the best offenses in the league.
Josh Rutledge - 2B, vs DET ($2,400)
Rutledge is a bit of a punt play since he is super cheap, but has some good upside since he is in the Red Sox offense. He doesn't have a big sample size, and is only batting .250 vs left-handed pitching this season. But if you want to fit one of the bigger name arms in you lineup, you will have to find some savings.
Evan Longoria - 3B, vs OAK ($3,400)
Longoria has a bit of a low salary today, and this is a good time to jump on him. Longoria has a .371 wOBA and a .163 ISO vs right-handed pitching this season. Now, those numbers won't blow you away, but since his price is lower, you don't need a ton of production from him. Good for either format.
Trevor Story - SS, @ CHC ($3,500)
Story got the day off on Saturday, so he should be good to go today. The wind is blowing 15 MHP out toward center at Wrigley, and this is a great hitters spot. Story always has the power upside, and even though he has been struggling a bit, the conditions today can help him.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Kyle Schwarber - OF, vs COL ($2,500)
Schwarber is totally unplayable in cash games. His average is down, his production is down, and the entire Cubs offense seems to have taken a hit compared to last season. BUT, Schwarber does have a lefty vs righty match up today, and the wind is blowing out toward center at 15 MPH. Those are all things in his favor, if he can't capitalize on that, then he is truly dead for fantasy purposes.
J.D. Martinez - OF, @ BOS ($4,200)
Martinez is at a hitters park, with the wind blowing out, and has a super favorable match up tonight. He has a .894 wOBA and a 1.077 ISO vs left-handed pitching this season. Yes, you read those right. Flat out silly numbers, and he should be in all of your lineups today.
Dexter Fowler - OF, vs PHI ($2,900)
Fowler has a bit of salary savings today, and has a decent match up. He has a .334 wOBA and a .225 ISO this season vs right-handed pitching. The wind is blowing out in St. Louis today, so favorable for the hitters. His price savings will allow you to get one of the bigger names pitchers on your roster.
