The Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres are still battling it out in Coors Field, but that game can be ignored tonight.
There are other great games to pick on, such as the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves. Find out who else makes for a great play below:
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/12/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Chicago Cubs
The Chicago Cubs are one of the best offensive teams in the league, and John Grant is not going to be able to keep them from scoring runs. He is literally $3,000 on FanDuel, which is ridiculous for a pitcher. FanDuel is begging anyone to take him, but it is not going to happen. Stack the Cubs instead.
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox make for a great stack tonight against the Minnesota Twins. Pat Dean is far from a great pitcher. The Red Sox are one of the best offensive teams in the league, as are the Cubs, so fire them up in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Oakland Athletics
The Oakland Athletics get a great matchup against John Lamb in Cincinnati, which happens to be a fantastic hitter-friendly ballpark. The Athletics are loaded with power, so this is a huge upside stack for tournaments.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Jon Lester is the best pitching option on the board. He is very expensive, but well worth his price tag in 50/50 contests. He should shut down the Atlanta Braves rather easily.
Zach Davies is too cheap on FanDuel. The New York Mets have a very powerful offense, but Davies has been hot of recent, so using him in tournaments makes a lot of sense. He has 30 or more fantasy points in four of his last five games, one of which was over 60 against the St. Louis Cardinals two games ago.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C) - Wilson Ramos
Splurge for Wilson Ramos until he cools down significantly. He is the best hitting catcher in the league right now, and there is no reason to not roster him. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
First Base (1B) - David Ortiz
David Ortiz is too cheap on FanDuel. He is having one of the best seasons of his career in 2016, and the Minnesota Twins are not going to be able to keep him from running around the bases. Use him, and the rest of the Boston Red Sox offense, in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Second Base (2B) - Adam Rosales
Adam Rosales entered the game for an injured Yangervis Solarte yesterday, and he may start again today against the Colorado Rockies. His price tag is too low to pass on him in Coors Field, regardless of his ability to hit. He is a great salary relief option.
Shortstop (SS) - Zack Cozart
Zack Cozart has been struggling over his last couple of games, but he is hitting against Kendall Graveman in hitter-friendly Cincinnati tonight, so a home run is well within his reach. Do not use him in 50/50 contests for the time being, but his price tag is low enough to fire him up in tournaments.
Third Base (3B) - Danny Valencia
Speaking of power-hitters that get a great matchup in Cincinnati, Danny Valencia will hit against John Lamb. Valencia has been hammering the ball since returning from injury, and he should continue to do so. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. His price tag will come up soon, so take advantage of how low it is right now.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Trayce Thompson seems to be attempting to one up his brother - Klay Thompson - right now. He has a hit in four straight games and over 15 fantasy points in two of his last four games. While Klay competes for an NBA Championship, Trayce is competing for a starting job with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Tyler Holt should continue to start for the Cincinnati Reds until Billy Hamilton returns from his concussion, which could be a few games yet. Holt is as cheap as it gets, and he helps to secure Jon Lester and his huge price tag.
